ibis Valparaiso Hotel

I always choose this hotel because of its location. As a lawyer I need to go to the Appeals Court in Valparaíso, which is a short walk away. Nevertheless, the hotel age is showing A LOT. It's dirty (particularly carpets), most of the time cleaning in the rooms is unsatisfactory (I've found hairs on the sheets several times), towels are so old that they are breaking apart, the breakfast is always different (sometimes no hot cake machine, no egg, etc.), no HDTV (it's 2020 guys!) and the TV you get, besides not being HD, has a horrible signal. Some time ago you removed bidets, which were useful. You used to put cups/glasses on the rooms... not anymore (first they were plastic, after that, paper, and now nothing. I don't know how I'm supposed to rinse my mouth after washing my teeth with the spray-like stream of water on the sink).

Small room but very comfortable bed. Room should supply glasses for a drink. Excellent breakfast was included.

IBIS Valparaíso is a god place there is not my first time In the hotel. I ask for another room but they explain me that price is highly, first time since I receipt this answer since I have Accor member.

Great comfortable stay in Valparaiso, enjoyed the old city and the location was convenient to travel to Vina del Mar and other places along the coast by train or bus.

We had a wonderful three night stay here. The hotel is in a great location with very convenient parking available. Our room overlooked the water and woke one morning to see a cruise ship moored what seemed like just outside. It was a great view. The room and bedding was typical Ibis and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good as well. The front desk staff was excellent and spoke English .

We arrived earlier than expected after a very long day of travel and the staff got us checked I early and on short notice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, air conditioners work great and the hot showers were wonderful. I will stay here again on my next visit.

The worst service I have ever experienced in my entire life. The manager exhibited us to the police in the last curfew while we were toasting. It was so dangerous.

My only recomendation will be to have more amenities in the room, Such as a fridge and better decoration. Also if you are goung to offer breakfast staff member should not remove the food or stop providing hot coffee, eggs and other items 35 minutes before breakfast is over, I ask th e cook for more eggs and he sounded disappointed. Otherwise all the rest is ok

Receptionist needs to be available for clients on site and questions from outsiders should be answered by different personal; it's not nice to be waiting until the receptionists finish their outside phone calls. Towels need to be renewed. showers and hand wash need to be reviewed more often

I found the staff quite helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the view of the harbor very nice. The room was clean enough but more effort could be focused on cleaning the floor corners and the door thresholds in the bathroom. The pillows were lumpy and very uncomfortable; I prefer down pillows. There was no glass from which to drink tap water, nor bottled water available in the room. This was an inconvenience.
