Decent sized room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Food was lacking. However, cannot complain too much as there is barely and food outlets open due to the current crisis. I will come back only to sleep.

I stayed for a long weekend with my mum as a treat for her. All staff we came across were fantastic,happy and very helpful. Fish and chips in the restaurant were exceptional. Yes some of hotel feels old and dated but the cleanliness was above and beyond!

The spa was closed it was a birthday present for my partnersat 21st so very very disappointed and also emailed to ask for compensation as we only had 1 dinner 1 breakfast and paid £200 for the pleasure

Room was good Restaurant menu was reasonable but let down by terrible quality - bad chef. Sauna temperature control broken - far too hot. Spa floors very slippery and dangerous

We left a night early due to a family emergency so could not provide feed back on check out. The room was tiny for our family of three. The room also had a wall iron, which was a the perfect height for my son to put his neck through the cord and try to hang himself. Obviously this should not be a room children are put in.

The staff are great, the room we stayed in was the executive suite but it didn't look like one. The noise from the room above us was loud. It seemed like every movement was over our heads. Didn't help for when we had to sleep. The swimming pool was dirty with sand at the bottom of pool

Problems started 5 minutes after arriving. Found it very dirty, overpriced and leisure access ridiculous - sharing a changing room with 6 years for swimming lessons. Sauna and steam room not turned on so unable to use. Pool unpleasant - mould, missing tiles, hurt my leg on a missing filter

My only criticisms are: 1. In the bar area there was some easy listening music being played in the background, but unfortunately this was drowned out by the television, which nobody was interested in. 2. Breakfast was very good apart from the bread provided for toast, which was a typical sliced loaf bought from a super market.

Charlotte was a fabulous ambassador on reception for the hotel. Room was lovely, clean, comfy bed plenty of hot water. Food set menu basic, but ok. Wine expensive, the most we have paid in the all the hotels we have stayed in. What really let the hotel down was the "spa" it was grotty and needed looking at as some aspects were unsafe. This is a hotel with leisure facilities and NOT a spa hotel.

stayed in a classic room which was fine. Good selection of hot drinks in room. Used the swimming pool which was at a good temperature. Changing rooms a bit shabby. Reception staff very helpful. Would like to see some seeds/nuts at breakfast with the muesli rather than dried banana slices

Poor value for room

Although the room itself looked tired it was fine , the bathroom however was a different story, cracked tiles, dirty looking grouting, over the bath shower not the best for elderly people and the non slip motif in the bath was very worn and no longer non slip. On checking in, bearing in mind we are 2 over 70’s we were told how to get to our room, down some steps and up a further staircase but we’re not asked if we could manage stairs and no lift, if these are the only available rooms we could have been told in advance. Over all the room was very over priced. On the positive side the breakfast was good.

Noisy room and dated room with broken towel rail

We stayed for two nights (one part of a virgin experience day and one additional night paid for). Received a phone call on the morning of the second day asking why we had left our belongings in the room when we had only booked for one night. I advised the receptionist to check their bookings as I had the receipt in front of me. She then went oh sorry I’ve found it forget what I just said!!! Very distressing for my husband and I. I also reported the towel rail as broken and nothing was done about it so we had to live with wet towels. We were also put in a very noisy room by the staff staircase and got no sleep. There was also a private function on the second night which was a complete night mare. An awful experience and a hotel I would not recommend to anyone. Spoilt our weekend away and a lot of money for nothing. So I would like to know what compensation I am entitled to?

Had a lovely stay staff friendly. Only one thing didn't agree with.Allowing customers to go to breakfast in there dressing gown.As there was a customer when we was at breakfast in there dressing gown.Not very good reputation for company or hotel in tonbridge wells.

Great friendly staff, good location and clean rooms

Two night trip away for birthday/couples holiday. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was very clean although a little dated/some wallpaper peeling. Bathroom has a slight drainage smell room 109. The pool area needs a good clean, some of the pool tiles felt a bit slimy and to be honest wasn’t able to relax in that area. Breakfast&meal was great and once again really good staff all round no complaints!
