We stayed at this Hotel overnight as we had a Wedding reception in the City Suite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfy and the breakfast was excellent, they catered for my wife's dietary needs too

This was our first visit for 2yrs and as usual we were greeted with a warm welcome,the hotel and room was clean and tidy,as was the restaurant, all the staff were helpful as we had left somethings in our room and we will be back to fetch them, thanks to all for a nice quiet stay,

The staff in the hotel reception, restaurant, and room service section offer exceptional service. They walk that extra mile to make sure your stay is very pleasant. The furniture in our room needed updating but our bed was very clean and comfortable, and we had more amenities than we expected in our room. The bathroom was also good. The hotel was very busy when we stayed so we were unable to obtain an upgrade. This stay was a gift from a friend.

I was aware it was an older type hotel and it was out of the city. The first room was very tired aged looking with curtains hanging off rains holes in net curtain damp black spots on windows.

Had an ace stay at the Mecure, however low the returning intervention team were feeling the staff helped raise their spirits, Easter broke the team with the return of long days, some of the more Wylie realised that con nor pros could be solved by just being a bit more hardy and as chilled as the staff.

Very Disappointing, bought this as a gift for my partner from 'Buy A Gift 'an overnight stay including evening meal and breakfast. Evening meal was non existent. We order three different main meals only to be told after each order, that this was off the menu. We had to order something we did not really want. There was no atmosphere in the Brasserie. Then to be told three of the desserts were not available, by this time I was absolutely fuming and feeling deflated. A Manager came over and apologised and gave us a drink on the house and said that their food orders had not been delivered. However, when reading other reviews I see this is something that seems to happen on a regular basis. We were given the Vancouver Suite, which was okay, but dark, and was in need of repainting. Only good thing was the bed. /Coffee/tea machine in room, but no milk. At breakfast we were shown to a table which honestly should have been on the tip, the table top was covered in scratches and marks, also there were splashes of food up the wall which we were sitting against.

We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was, unfortunately, taken ill in the early hours of the Monday morning but 2 of the male first aiders came to help me. They were very patient and very good at their jobs. I don't know their names but they are worthy of special praise. Thank you.

A good welcome and the accessible room I was promised bur the weather was hot and we couldn't open the window and the aircon was too noisy to sleep with it on so not as comfortable as we had hoped Breakfast was ok but not exceptional ,the eggs having sat on the warming plate for too long but the staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner was better and the staff again very nice and as we were the only ones in the dining room kindly turned off the background music which my husband who uses hearing aids finds very difficult .All in all a reasonable stay but not the best

Poor hotel in serious need of updating. Threadbare carpets in the passageways and stained/threadbare carpets in my room. Email received from the hotel after booking only addressed me by my surname. When this was mentioned at checking in I got told "it is a computer generated email".

A very tired hotel in need of updating and not the most friendly reception staff. Good free car parking and a decent location in the city. Evening meals were good but breakfast was very poor. Pricey compared to other secure Hotels.
