Mercure Livingston Hotel is in a central location in Scotland, located off the M8 J3, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. The hotel has conference facilities for up to 110 delegates with a restaurant, the Health Club and parking onsite. Air-conditioning and complimentary high-speed WIFI make business a pleasure in any one of our 8 meeting rooms. Host an intimate board meeting for 7 or a conference for up to 120 delegates. Audiovisual equipment is available on request. Delegates can get down to busi ness while we deliver working buffet lunches, restaurant meals or takeaway snacks. After a long day, take a dip in our heated indoor pool.

Warm welcoming reception. Lift was out of order. Hotel felt very dated. Shower in room wasn’t good as it ran the same time as bath. Food was frozen from restraint could tell it wasn’t fresh. Room was very basic with dated furniture. General decor of hotel needs updated.

My (new) husband and I recently held our wedding reception at the Mercure hotel Livingston. From our first consultation with Angela to the day itself, we were absolutely blown away! It was practically perfect, and felt so “us”. We did have one or two minor gripes with the venue itself. Specifically 1. A radiator was left on in the hall, despite it being a very warm day. 2. We had to purchase our own chair backs and centrepieces, as the hotels felt a little bit dated - the same could also be said for the guest rooms and halls However, that aside, what made the day (and run up to it) so fantastic was the AMAZING service we received from your wonderful staff! Angela - we had our initial consultation with Angela, and she was a complete superstar! At the time, we were looking at some other venues in the surrounding area. However, after our first 15 mins meeting Angela, we knew we had to have our wedding at the Mercure. She instantly made us feel at ease, she did a great job explaining the package and nothing was too much trouble. A credit to your team! Gillian and Valerie - these poor ladies had to endure ALOT of e-mails from me with room changes, menu tweaks and general groom panic! However, they were stellar in their service and again, nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you sooooo much ladies. Alison - We first met Alison on the day of the wedding, and within 2 minutes of meeting of her, we knew we were in safe hands. A consummate professional, but with a really approachable manner, she ran a tight ship on the day and put us completely at ease knowing everything was in hand; even despite my best efforts to change timings at the last minute! Thank you so much! All the serving/ bar staff working that night - exemplary service from such a friendly bunch. Nothing was ever too much trouble, several family members and friends commented on this. Overall, I have put our wedding at a 9/10 only due to the couple of cosmetic niggles we had. The staff get a 10/10 in every category. Thanks guys!!!

Good stay - Hotel a bit Tired needs updating on everything!

was nice place and very friendly staff ..however the hotel room facilities really need updating the carpet is thin as paper so are the walls you can hear everything next door the furniture is 1980's same as the bathroom ... Everything really needs updating

Good place, pity about the pool

Hotel facilities were above par but the pool that we were hoping to use has been out of service for the past year and we were advised it will probably be available during our booking, but when we arrived we were let down. Bar service at night was not staffed properly with 7 minute waiting times. Breakfast in the morning was great but will probably not stay in the 'ALL - Accor Live Limitless' hotels again, seeing I can't trust their facilities information.

Had to stay behind on a tour group due to having a kid losing their passport. Stayed here for the night so we could run and grab an emergency passport, and the front desk was very helpful with everything. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which were both very good and affordable!
