Mercure Livingston Hotel is in a central location in Scotland, located off the M8 J3, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. The hotel has conference facilities for up to 110 delegates with a restaurant, the Health Club and parking onsite. Air-conditioning and complimentary high-speed WIFI make business a pleasure in any one of our 8 meeting rooms. Host an intimate board meeting for 7 or a conference for up to 120 delegates. Audiovisual equipment is available on request. Delegates can get down to busi ness while we deliver working buffet lunches, restaurant meals or takeaway snacks. After a long day, take a dip in our heated indoor pool.

Overpriced unloved hotel

Arrived late after a long road journey and greeted with a warm welcome. Escorted to our room along a long dull and obviously well trodden and used corridor with plenty evidence of use with scratches and damage to walls, doors floors and furnishings. There was dust evident in all doorways and over doors and skirtings. Inside the room much the same decor but the room was particularly cold, as the heating was off and the single club chair war completely ripped along the fabric of the one arm. The breakfast the following day was cold and not much available at 8am, i asked for some mushrooms as there were none left and waited. Beans and eggs arrived so i gave up as i needed to be somewhere by 9am. Price paid over the odds, not worth it, i shall not be using this group again and will certainly take more note to reviews. No USB points The staff deserve a medal and new management.

The hotel was tired but spotless and warm. Can't praise the staff enough, they were friendly, helpful nothing was to much trouble and they smiled a lot which is a pleasant change from some of the hotels I have stayed in!!! Peter made sure our stay was very enjoyable by making sure everything ran smoothly , he is lovely man and very good at his job

Booked a family room for three adults one child, arrived at a room with one double bed and one single bed and one dressing table chair. Made this work for us as we were only there one night and due to shopping were only in room to sleep. Room very dated and in need of a refresh. Went to restaurant for dinner, drink had to be sent back , had to chase up food and then never came back to ask for another drink when sitting for half hr without. Wouldn't return.

Stayed for a weekend with my sister. Hotel a little tired but was immaculately cleaned and tidy. The staff and manager are extremely friendly and helpful. The food and service good. Would definitely stay again.

When I arrived, the room was very cold and took hours to warm up. The inside of the bathroom door looked very worn an unappealing, no coffee sachets only tea (reception were helpful in providing some) and generally not very cosy.
