Hotel Flawed but Perth Superb

As always the location is brilliant , the staff are wonderful, friendly and cant be faulted The only thing that lets this hotel down is the Hotel itself. In badly need of TLC this is not a 3 start hotel but barely a 2 star I always enjoy coming here but the rooms really need a lot of money spent on them That said , donht let this put you off staying here . It is a very good hub for travelling and enjoying the area As someone said to me it is a bed for the night and nothing much more For anybody who has never been here it is 4 mins walk from the cinema , 5 mins from several restaurants and 3 mins from several bars and 6 mins from a morrisons !!! like I say the location is superb

We enjoyed our stay but there were a few issues. Although we had booked for 2 nights reception issued us with keys for one night only. Fortunately this was sorted out but caused unnecessary anxiety. Our room was very comfortable. There was an excellent selection at breakfast but the hot buffet ran out both mornings and we had wait some time until it was restocked. Plates were also cold. The fabric on chairs very stained which is not pleasant. The staff on the whole were lovely and very helpful

The room was very satisfactory. I was attending a society dinner and the food and wine were perfectly acceptable. Car parking was a bit tight!!

Very nice hotel in historical buildings. Great breakfast, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Could however do with an upgrade of the rooms and better sound insulation. The floor above makes a loud noise when people in the upper floors walks around.

The hotel which is in an old water mill is in a nice location in the historic mills quarter near to the town centre of Perth and within walking distance of the railway station. The hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean. However, the hairdryer advertised as being in the room on the hotel website was not present and the beds and pillows were far to hard.

Intersting Mill conversion stay

My Wife and I stayed in the Perth hotel to attend a mills conference based there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself had a tired and a little neglected look. The carpets were worn in places, the furniture in our bedroom had seen better days and the over the bath shower was very difficult to turn on. Being vegetarian we were disappointed that only the gluten free sandwiches were labelled as such. None of the others were labeled as to their contents. We had to ask for help on this. Bed was comfortable.

Seriously one of the worst showers I've ever had in 20 years of being a consultant. Positives super breakfast, lovely staff and a comfortable mattress. Hotel needs money spent on it, furniture dated, a bit grubby and absolutely shocking water pressure.

The hotel itself is very tired looking. The staff who checked us in were lovely and very helpful, however, as soon as we walked through the door to our room we were hit with disappointment. The bathroom was outdated with little complimentary toiletries, and the water pressure was non existent. The bed was uncomfortable, the window wouldn’t stay open, no water in rooms - it just wasn’t very pleasant. After looking at the menu for dinner on the website, we were looking forward to their menu. Only to find it was a restricted set menu, which we were unhappy with. Breakfast was shocking too. Breakfast kitchen staff were unwelcoming, the breakfast table was a mess and the food wasn’t fresh. We were there for a friends wedding so on our way back to the hotel we asked for some room service, which stated on the menu in our too was 24 hours. We were told at reception everything was closed. Overall, just disappointed in our experience. I wouldn’t recommend or return.

We had been given a voucher for our Anniversary and decided to stay with your Hotel ,the room we were given was not worth the £100 that the voucher was worth ,after speaking to the Manager concerning the colour of the bath she very kindly changed our room to a suite ,which was very kind of her .Looking forward to a cooked breakfast Sunday morning only to be told there was a problem with the gas !!!on reflection that sounded quite worrying ,I can understand if the chef hadn't turned up but No Gas !!!!but we did have a lovely stay in perth .

In regards to the issue with breakfast on Sunday morning, we had a problem with our gas supply. As it was to do with gas this was a major Health and Safety concern therefore we could not turn the gas on to investigate until an engineer was called. We were quick to action the issue and an engineer was out later that day to fix it, unfortunately this did affect your breakfast and I can only apologise for that. I twas outwith our control to fix it and serve breakfast. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Good location, staff friendly, room clean but a little tired. The main problem was the noise - inside (thin walls) and outside the hotel. It was a Saturday night and we had revellers directly outside our window until 4am and we got no sleep until the yelling stopped. Not the hotel's fault directly, but better windows could help.

Husband took Ill when we got there. Too early for check in . Advised reception we would not be staying Email from Accor asking for review Have been here before and it is nice. As husband took ill I drove back home in the Dudley storm horrendous driving conditions No refund or change of date offered but not expected anything back as not hotel's fault
