Myself and my two daughters booked in for a midweek mini break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff are lovely and despite the covid restrictions we were able to enjoy all the hotels facilities. Our rooms were spotless and we were looked after very well.

An excellent stay. Clean well kept rooms. Superb staff throughout the hotel. All very friendly and helpful. Food quality very good both at breakfast and the evening meal. Only negative was a lack of gluten free options in the reduced menu ie no pizza or pasta.

Due to the lockdown we did not get a holiday this year so we are taking weekend breaks. My partner has trouble with her knee and likes nothing more than to sit in a jacuzzi or steam/sauna as it helps ease the pain. Unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel we were informed that neither were in operation due to COVID-19, however this was not mentioned on the website. We were advised that the pool was open so we booked a slot and went for a swim only to find that the water was extremely cold and nothing like the 29 degrees that was shown poolside. Other guests in our slot also mentioned this and we all came out after a very short period of time. Another favourite of my partner is cocktails so we made our way to the bar at the advertised time on the website for the buy one, get one half price promotion only to find that they were not doing them due to COVID-19. How that would affect a cocktail is beyond me. The staff were very apologetic, but it still doesn’t justify not updating the website. Apart from the above the room was nice, evening meal and breakfast were good and the staff, although thin on the ground were very helpful. I think if the website was up to date we probably would have postponed our visit until such time that we could enjoy the facilities.

I loved how I was treated. I had dinner and breakfast included. We really liked the green areas. We loved the pool and the immense bed. It is a bit tricky to get hold of all the things I needed to know prior my visit. Like the use of an app to be able to book a swim session or what was the system for dinner. But it was overall a wonderful stay

Felt like appropriate COVID measures were being taken, but felt a sense of calm and elements of normality. Bedroom was very clean, albeit basic and small considering it was a “privilege” room. Also it was extremely hot and stuffy, so took a long while for it to freshen up. I would suggest during these times windows remain open in rooms

Very poor quality and run down hotel. Mediocre staff. Booked via booking.com to get second room half price but charged full price for both rooms. When I told the receptionist (Millie), I was told nothing she could do apart from possibly call back when management were in. Pool was a great size and good temperature.

Stayed in the Lakeview Suite, very disappointed by the decor. Windowsill not attached in the bedroom window, heat coming from bathroom lights unbearably hot, musty water coming out of sink tap, carpet dirty and the bed was one of the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in, felt like a tram8with no support. However, the restaurant staff were pleasant and welcoming despite the food on offer being overpriced and mediocre. Will not be recommending. Mentioned on departure the bed, but the receptionist just said she would tell housekeeping.

Broken toilet,iron,coffee Machine, all the sealant around the sink bath and toilet was coming loose lights in lift not working and I paid for a upgraded room

Pleasant and helpful staff, all Covid measures in place but I did notice, quite a few people coming in and out of the hotel without wearing a mask and in particular, day visitors using the gym and swimming facilities. I think a member of staff near the main entrance, should remind these people to wear a mask.
