Receptionist repeatedly insisted that I booked a standard room while I booked privilege. Had to show a booking confirmation to resolve. Otherwise hotel is excellent: great location, rooms, breakfast. Even parking is available now: as far as I can remember it didn’t exist few years ago.

My stay was short but very good. I liked the view from my room And it’s overall cleanliness. On my request to bring the iron, staff kindly brought me iron and the ironing board. 4 bottles of water were free which was a nice surprise in such a hot day. I probably would prefer more things in a mini bar. Also couldn’t find room service menu. Perhaps it would be better if hotel had QR code cards for the room service in the room so I could look it up on my phone instead of calling the restaurant.

Good Location, cleanness, amenities, breakfast, staff More than usual Complimentary local sparkling wine for the Women’s Day during breakfast Need to improve Daily press on printed stapled sheets, though multilingual. Lack of entertainment advise list, such as resto, music, exhibition, educational and speech forum ect.; or it could be shown in a web-link way. When you pay in hotel resto you cannot earn accor point.

I think the manager of this hotel should work better and should at least try to react to the requests of the guests. Such efforts could make this hotel more close to the Mercure standards of service quality.

I have stayed many times in Mercure Rostov and I have to say that I like a lot. The situation is very convenient close to the center and the river side. The rooms are renovated and with a nice design. I could have good rest every time. The service is I will use every time I am going to Rostov.

One of the hotel female receptionist is not helpful for hotel transportation arrangements and until now still haven't receive the transportation payment receipt as per promise. Delayed my laundry delivery once. Overall not a English friendly hotel.
