Everything was fine but our room wasn't filled with all espected amenities and it seemed it has been closed or unused for a long time. We spoke wih reception and the day after we found everything but for a 4 star hotel and a superior room wasn't really a perfect start.

We stayed twice in the hotel on both ends of our trip. First one night and at the end three nights. The first night we didn't get an upgrade, but we got a very nice and spacious room. The second stay we got an upgrade to a privilege room. The website says in a privilege room you'll find a coffee-machine, a robe, slippers and free soft-drinks in the fridge. The only thing we found was the coffee-machine. While we found the first night in the not upgraded room a robe and slippers. A bit funny we thought. The other lacking thing was that we stayed three days and never got new plastic or hardboard glasses. All those days we had to use the old ones, which wasn't pleasant. Beside those things we loved the hotel: nice rooms, friendly personnel, free parking, good restaurant, affordable.

Room was always clean, staff were professional and warm, helpful. Food was really good (though service could be a little slow) A good, positive and enjoyable experience. Recommend.

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The room looked tired and the carpet was stained and dirty. We had trouble opening our door and we had to go back to have our key reissued. The staff was nice but overall it was not a satisfactory experience.

The hotel was booked for one night for a transit. No where during the booking process did it say I had to reserve a shuttle ahead of time although I did put that one was required around 7pm to the hotel in the comments. Upon arriving to Funicello airport I called the hotel only to find out that there was no pick up booked and no driver available that evening. I was also informed that a taxi to the hotel was going to cost 50 euro!!! I was travelling alone with my young son and did not expect this added expense. I was clearly a little distraught. Alessandra working at the front desk went out of her way to help me. She managed to arrange a pick up for us. I was beyond grateful for her graciousness. It made me sigh a huge relief. It was certainly appreciated and her “going above and beyond” should not be over looked.

This hotel fulfils most of my expectations since several years now, with a special attention to the reception personnel, always attentive to my requirements. They are friendly and professional, which helps to feel at home. Cleaning staff is also excellent. My only insatisfaction goes to the breakfast, as there is no availability anymore of "real" bread but only tasteless milky buns and toasts. This was before the best aspect of the breakfast with a choice of good bread and specially crusty baguettes. A decision difficult to understand and for sure not to be charged on the account of the Covid.

Inadequate air conditioning and soundproofing.

From the room, with closed windows, you could hear cars passing by on the nearby road. The air conditioning system is an old concept and comfort has been negatively affected.

Sono spiacente che il servizio e la prestazione non siano stati all’altezza delle sue aspettative e la prego di accettare le nostre più sincere scuse. Le assicuro che farò verificare eventuali problematiche a riguardo l'AC che seppur non di nuovissima generazione risulta perfettamente funzionante, ma sono rammaricato se ha riscontrato dei problemi che sicuramente saremmo riusciti a risolvere tempestivamente. Comunque Le rinnovo le mie scuse e sarà nostro premura intervenire sui punti che ci ha segnalato. the hotel itself is very beautiful and well facilitated, the room clean , but the staff not so friendly , especially the bar staff which not only didn't seem to care and let me and my friend wait for about half an hour for some drinks but then he wasn't even informed about the bienvenue cards , over all not well trained for a mercure

We arrived during the coronavirus shut-down, so the hotel was extremely empty and everything was quiet. The room was spacious and clean. We were grateful for the kettle in the room so we could have tea with our sandwiches. The neighborhood around the hotel is residential, but there were food shops within easy walking distance. Everything else is far away, but we were only there to wait for a delayed flight so we didn't try. The free airport shuttle was a great benefit to us, although we did have to wait several hours from our arrival until he could pick us up. Check-in and check-out were both as smooth and friendly as could be.

Overall I was quite satisfied, especially with the large and varied breakfast buffet, but there is room for improvement: - One of the bedside tables in my room wasn't clean. - The hot dishes at the breakfast buffet were just about lukewarm. - There should be wet wipes or similar for the "make your own smoothie" station at the breakfast buffet since you always get sticky fingers from cutting and peeling the fruit. - There should be a bigger selection of tea/infusions at the breakfast buffet - there were just three or four kinds of black tea plus chamomile infusion. I was missing fruit infusions and some other herbal infusions. - The shuttle times both from the airport should be extended considerably.

Poor location compensated by the great shuttle service to/from both Fiumicino airport and EUR Fermi train station. Nice restaurant with tasty food and a great wine list. Internet easy and good speed, freindly and attentive staff.

Nice rooms and excellent breakfast. Few small points for improvement 1) The room windows don't isolate enough from street noise (to my taste) 2) The restaurant's staff should be a bit more welcoming. Smiling and greetings are always appreciated; 3) The gym room is too small with too few equipments and the opening hours are too limited .
