ibis Styles Zaragoza Ramiro I Hotel 3 stars

Was good to stay but unfortunately did not credit my accor account with membership points or nights accomodation. Hate it when I have to hassle to get membership points owed to me

My wife and me spend two nights in January 2019. We slept very well on the soft bed. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. No problems at check-in and stay. Hotel is located close to Aldi supermarket and a bus stop with buses to Barcelona is in front of the hotel. However, there is no shuttle to the airport and no direct bus to the airport. We can recommend the hotel and would always come back if we were in Barcelona area.

Very welcoming staff who were very happy for us to be accompanied by our dog. We had breakfast with her in the lounge.

Comfortable and convenient

We found this Hotel comfortable and well located to visit the city centre. Breakfast was also plentiful and catered for all our needs except possibly french bread, which is my preference. There was however a plentiful supply of sliced bread and small rolls. The one draw back was noise. Having previously stayed at an Ibis Budget in Bordeaux we had vowed not to use this brand again, but this residence being an Ibis Styles we had hoped for improvement. Overall it was better, but noise was still an issue. It seems there has been no thought given to noise transfer in the construction of this building and no thought to door closing. We were constantly disturbed by doors banging in the corridor as there was no preventative mechanism as one finds in many, indeed most, Hotels throughout the world. Full marks to the staff who were friendly and helpful.

Welcoming staff, clean warm room with bath and shower, excellent self service breakfast. Hotel within easy walking distance of all sights in Zaragoza. Nearby were wonderful vegetarian and vegetarian friendly bars and restaurants.

Room comfortable and clean, breakfast delicious and staff very kind. The parking was super small, but for the rest everything was great.

Poor beds. Poor breakfast offering.

The hotel was in a good location but we were disappointed we could not prebook the parking. It’s on a 1st arrive basis, so we left our home very early to be there at midday. We were able to secure parking at that time. The room was clean but the pillows were flat and the uncomfortable, the towels very thin and grey. The shower would not stay up kept falling against the wall. A below average Ibis for us although location was good in the old part of town.

We needed car parking we were unable to book that, 1st come first served. So left home at 6am to arrive at 12. We were able to get parking. It should be 1st to book should have the option. Room was large, bed uncomfortable, pillows flat, TV unable to to receive Version Orginal on the menu button. Shower head would not stay upright kept falling to back to the wall, towels very thin & grey. Very noisy, guests making noise in hallway most of night, doors slamming. Ideal location........staff helpful, good breakfast

The check in was easy, the room was basic but comfortable. No minibar or tea/coffee making facilities. The only problem was the lack of parking. At no stage were we advised that parking should be booked in advance but the hotel car park was full so we had to park a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast was included and was buffet style and very satisfactory. All in all a good value stay.

As accor member I can say this is the worst hotel to date. Old and dated no one said hello or good bye as you walked by. No welcome pack on arrival as members get. But worst of all a stranger was also given our room and he attempted to come in with bag and all. Very embarrassed I informed reception who didn't really care. Not even a sorry. Never stay at this hotel again.

Room hot and stuffy... air-conditioning would only heat, not cool and opening the window only let in the stink from the sewers and drains.....but otherwise fine for a one night stopover - location, price and cleanliness excellent
