The Sails is definitely amongst the best accommodation I have ever stayed at. It was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were always willing to help with a smile on their face. Originally, we were booked at The Lost Camel, yet due to our circumstances we required rooms next to each other. We were upgraded to Sails in the Desert which was very generous. I found the motel staff in both places were exceptional in assisting us

Fabulous room and great place to stay

I thought that this place was isolated, but it is in a village of lots of shops and other places to stay. The place was great to stay in and the room was spacious, great bed and shower. The restaurants were great with lovely staff and good food. I was close to the town center, museums and shops.

Great experience at Sails, rooms are great sizes, it’s food and friendly staff were terrific. Very much recommend a night or 2 here! Close to the attractions with gift shops and other facilities on the premises. Enjoyed my few nights stay here!

Probably the premier resort in Yulara this hotel has good accommodation and excellent food. A good base for exploring all of the sights to be seen in the Uluru vicinity. Would definetly ecommend as a place to stay.

We loved the Uluru experience and all the Yulara experience, understanding that you are in central Australia and it must be incredibly difficult to manage. Sails was a upmarket experience, and although many of the staff were inexperienced they tried hard to assist you. Having lived in Fiji previously, we were had a good time chatting with the bar and restaurant staff who had just arrived in Australia. Rooms were good and facilities excellent, but you do pay for it. Our big issue was that we had a Covid credit from a booking made a couple of years earlier, and had also made further payment as required. When we arrived, I enquired about any outstanding balance and was told it was all paid and nil balance. When departing after 5 nights, also told no payment required as all paid. Received paperwork to the effect. Then , as we were passing through Alice Springs , received a bank alert to say several hundred dollars had been debited from our credit card. Rang to enquire and supervisor said the staff had made a mistake on booking payments. They sent a detailed statement , which I agreed was correct and the money was owed. The issue was deducting money without calling first after being told everything was ok. Not good enough.
