new, neat and clear. great location for breakfast, at roof facing the sea. the best thing is 2 minutes walk to cafes and 5 minutes walk to tram. only complaint is the construction nearby making the area a bit messy and not easy to access.

The only problem was that on my arrival 3/5/20 The hotel fail to tell me about the meeting place/from the driver who was picking me up. I even send a confirmation email but no one told me different. When I arrived no one had a sign like the email said with my name. I waited close to a hour. While calling the hotel and dealing with now the driver who didn’t d speak that much English. Going back and forth in the airport trying to meet for pickup. I was told because it’s the new law from the government from two months ago. My ride finally got there the car stunk like cigarettes, no sign in the car indicating that it was even a hotel car driver or part of the hotel. The car did not match the quality of the hotel. It felt as if I could off gotten in a strangers car. While I hope I’m getting to my hotel. On my way back we stay at different hotel. They had their cars and driver dress accordingly to their job. Not a good way to start a trip in you’re beautiful country. Elizabeth R.

Although the hotel is well situated I was disappointed on two aspects 1) the first day I put the door not disturb’ sign up to have a sleep and so my room was not serviced, the next day I said hello to staff when I left the room to go out, when I returned I found a ‘do not disturb’ sign on my door! I already had two signs inside the room so I assume staff did not want to clean my room and put this sign up. 2) I went to go to the dining room dressed in a dress and sandals, the woman at the desk stopped me and said that I couldn’t come in in slippers! I was so offended that she thought my $160 sandals were slippers!

On you way out of the room, you informed our Housekeeping Team Leader that cleaning was not necessary. We informed our staff accordingly and will be more careful. I would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused with regard to the attitude of our team members. I chose Novotel Istanbul twice within a year! I love this hotel, its location, the delicious breakfast, the indoor pool, the spacious room. Above all, i appreciated the helpful staff, especially when by accident i booked a single and not a double room. They gave me the best solution i could ever imagine!

Great location although 1st floor rooms backing onto cafe and restaurants (street) was noisy. Room was to hot due to central a/c and with window open street noise to early hours wasn't what we hoped for.

Not Allowing Welcome Drinks at the Roof Top Bar Now is Plain Nonsense

This is a great hotel for me. And I am a Accor member which entitles me to a welcome drink. They use to allow us to take the welcome drink at the roof top bar. Now it is not and I cannot understand the logic. There was another Novotel Hotel in Bangkok that removed its Executive Floor Lounge. So I do not stay there anymore. As to this, I know it is minor. Which should not have been implemented by the hotel management. Everything else was great specially the staff.

Lots of Niceties for Half the Price!

I recently stayed at the Novotel Bosphorus for 6 nights. I had considered changing my reservation to a nearby, "luxury" hotel where a family member was staying for twice the price. I am so glad that I didn't! The Novotel was sparkling clean, modern and quite comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and quite helpful, especially with making reservations, confirming tours and general information. The location is very good, right near the Bosphorus and the ferry terminal. A tram stop was just around the corner. Top notch restaurants and the most highly rated baklava bakery were both very close. The only issue I had with the hotel, which has nothing to do with the hotel itself, is that the waterfront is under construction. They are building a cruise ship terminal and a luxury hotel across the street, so it is essentially a construction zone. However, there was no construction noise in the room, so aside from being unsightly, it didn't change the quality of my stay. I would stay here again and will try other Novotel hotels when in Europe. I highly recommend this hotel for a fairly priced, pleasant stay. Thank you!

Good location for East access to istanbul

Hotel modern and very clean had few issues with room but we're soon sorted hotel manager and concierge very professional however some of the reception staff were little rude overall good location to access all areas and attractions

I had good stay at the hotel because the room was spacious , tidy and clean . Also because the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room has the worst view that I have ever seen . I would like to thank the rooms division Manager ,Mr Guven Canbulat , for his assistance in resolving an issue that I had with my reservation as well as the receptionist Mr Burak for smooth and quick checkout .
