It started badly as the automatic check in would not accept our surname or the booking reference to enable us to check in. What is going on with this? Fortunately a few minutes later the short time receptionist arrived and checked us in. Without her intervention we would not have managed to check in. We had a room at the back overlooking the car park. The room was basic but adequate. It's a pity there was a truck parked right under our window and he started hi engine at 6am and left it running!!

Strange atmosphere in the lobby, empty, not so nice neighbourhood. Shower is way too small, bathroom in general very small. Pillows very bad and small.

« Terrible - Worst Ibis Budget Hotel Ever! »

I felt compelled to write this review and complaint about my Terrible experience at this hotel. Firstly, when I got to the hotel around around 11pm, the reception was closed and the reservation machine outside the reception couldn't even recognise my booking number nor surname. I had previously spoken to an advisor over the phone about my arrival time, and was surprised to get to the hotel with no entry access and an empty reception. I had to ring Accor Hotels and waited nearly 40mins before a grumpy lady final came to the reception to check me in. Upon Checking-in the room, the room was damp, smelly and with the bathroom as well. and there was heavy stench of cigarette smoking even though it had a no smoking sign on the door. The floor was also very sticky when walking on bear feet, and you could actually smell the cigarette stench from the corridor of the hotel. I barely managed to stay for a night and woke up with congested feeling in my nose. Despite the fact that I had paid for a couple of nights, I made the determination to leave the hotel the next day and check-into a B&B nearby, which was half decent and manageable to last me two more nights. As an Accor m., I have been to many Ibis hotels , and advise that something has to be done regarding this hotel, as it is well below the minimum standard expected of a budget hotel. What a disgrace!

We had payed in advance but could NOT get our keycard without paying again. We first received our keycard when the reception opened at 5 o’clock. At that time we had waited more than 2 hours. No explanation or excuse from the receptionist.

The cleaning staff is very very noisy in the morning, they have trolleys in metal that make a lot of noise, hitting the walls of the rooms and waking up the whole floor the ceils are so thin that we hear the neighbors from above walking on the floor

first night, the bed was good but the floor was some like a little beat grass. What gave the impression to be careful in order not to slide on the ground floor. For the second night, the room was fine but it was on the second floor. There was no lift at that hotel.

We arrived late at app. 23.30. The machine at the entrance didn't function, and we called the reception. Despite our explanation of the problem, it took several calls and 15-20 minutes for the receptionist to take the problem serious and fix it, so we could get into the hotel. In the room the maintenance was very poor - and the shower head was broken.

Staff, when available, was helpful and best part of stay. First night, we were missing a few amenities (resolved the next day) but the room sufficed otherwise. Candy on the first night and at the welcome desk was a nice detail. Very helpful to have a telephone number in case reception was not available. Would be nice to have a tea and coffee maker in each room and some kind of cold cuts at breakfast but perhaps this is asking for too much. TV had poor reception for most channels. Hot croissants were a nice touch at breakfast but they tasted pre-packaged. Anyway, we didn't expect much for the price and got what we expected.

« Small rooms and too much noice »

We had room nr. 31. I is a very small room. There was too much noise through the walls from the rooms next door and the noise from the corridors. It is not the normal standard for Your hotels. We have been at many IBIS-budget hotels - Etap.

Just average. Room was very small and smelly. Toilets are sort of add on cabins, very noisy and unconfortable.

After 9 in the evening you have to check in with a machine. This does not work. And after spending 1,5 hour on the phone with the customer service we got no Help. No room and no solution, only a large phone bill. On top of it all, they charged my kreditt card for the rooms I never got acess to.

The card machine was not working when I arrived after 9pm. After ringing the number on the notice, it took over 30 minutes and some expensive telephone calls to eventually gain access to the room. I was placed in a different room to the one reserved, so breakfast the next morning was minimal. No complaints about the room. Nice and warm and clean as usual.
