It’s such a beautiful boutique hotel ideally located on the city’s edge right near the Treasury Gardens and the restaurants if the cbd’s east end. The rooms overlooking the Domain are lovely. The concierge could not have been nicer. But some of the fittings are a little shopworn and stiff, while bathrooms need upgrading - both old fittings and the plumbing.

We arrived from a Brisbane orange zone and were required to have a touchless check and isolate in the hotel until negative covid results arrived - the hotel's concierge was super helpful with ensuring we had everything we required, including everything for a meal which was delivered from a third party provider. We are very appreciative of the hotel's understanding and approach to our particular predicament. We have stayed at the Lindrum a number of times before and this only enforces the positive experiences we have had previously. Thank you

A three night stay with my daughter. We used the Lindrum as a base to explore the the city - great restaurants, bars, comedy show, the gallery and shopping. Having been in lockdown on and off tor 18months it was wonderful to have a staycation in our own city.

we were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation. on arrival met by receptionist opening front door for us, very friendly manner. Room was excellent, and spacious. parking next to property, tram stop outside of address in free tram zone. easy to get around Melbourne close to MCG and other sporting facilities. good stroll to Swanston st, or catch free tram. pity that restaurant was not operating for meals due to Covid restrictions.

It is so rare nowadays to enjoy the calibre of genuine warmth & professionalism that was shown to us by Simone and all Hotel Lindrum’s lovely staff— from pre-booking to checkout. They all went above, beyond and then some, and with such genuine care & a desire to make our stay perfect. THIS is what makes a Hotel stay EXCEPTIONAL. This is what makes a Hotel exceptional. The historical building and its gorgeous architecture and interior design is a real treat, and we throughly enjoyed a game of billiards on the antique table along with drinks from the little bar. The atmosphere was again, warm, peaceful and felt very special to be a part of. It has been many years since I have experienced this level of service in a Hotel from anywhere around the globe, and I was proudly impressed that it was here, in my home town of Melbourne Australia. I very much look forward to planning my next stay with the Lindrum, and thank all staff once again for creating a beautiful experience for us.

The Lindrum is a well located Hotel in the cbd and near the sport precinct of Melbourne park. With their own restaurant and bar there is nothing missing. My personal experience was with a view not out to the city which was unfortunate.

It was lovely to be back at the Lindrum. The service was impeccable, as per normal. Unfortunately our room (313) while perfect inside, was impossible to get dark at night because of the lights from the adjacent carpark. We will know for next time, but better black out curtains would be an immediate improvement.

I don't believe that this hotel in it's current state is classified as premium - Outdated building, furniture & fittings.

Nice staff but building & room were outdated, old furniture & fittings, cannot believe bathrooms were that old, etc. I booked it thinking that this is a premium brand of the Accor Group, but very disappointed.

Family get together after lockdown. we took the opportunity for my wife and i to catch up with our adult kids and stay in Melbourne for the weekend. The Lindrum was perfect. The ideal place - great location, great rooms and supported by friendly and professional staff. The hotel has a intimate vibe not always found in the larger hotels. Will stay again Great weekend

A Restful Step Back in Time

This was a repeat stay, and the hotel has not lost its charm, despite some of the government mandated Covid-19 restrictions. No, the mini-bar cannot be stocked (but we could turn on the fridge for our own use) and the lovely "Felt" restaurant is only available for a la carte breakfast and no buffet, but the meal was fine (and of course the Accor Card helps!!). No dinner is currently available. BUT one can still play snooker on the lovely old billiard table, and the back lounge is a lovely place for a quiet drink. With all the Accor cleaning protocols, we were not anxious in the least. With the reduced accommodation demand we were even upgraded to a better room.
