« Great stay at an excellen resort in a beautiful location »

I stayed at the PBBR in September as part of a conference; I had very little time to appreciate the resort and decided to bring my family back in early January for a 4-night stay. We had a great stay. The room was very well equipped and very comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food - the desserts were especially good. (We at in the casual dining area; we didn't explore the fine dining options). The layout of the resort is initially a little confusing, but we quickly figured it out and got to really appreciate the privacy each unit enjoys.

The location was a simply beautiful and pleasant. It was our first time visiting Perth/Margaret River and staying at this hotel made our trip more enjoyable. You can certainly improve some of the out dated amenities and lighting. But this was a small matter.

We have researched things to do in Margaret River and have stumbled across the Pullman Bunker Bay Resort. The photos don't do this place justice. The resort reminded us of our previous resorts in Asia. It was very beautiful. The sight downside was the size of the resort. It was quite a walk to traverse. Luckily enough, there are little carts that can take us around. The bay/beach was very clean and easy to access. Overall, our stay has exceeded our expectation of resorting in Australia.

Great in almost every way, friendly staff, amazing food. The exception to this was that the bed was very well slept in and dipped in the mattress from use which lead to poor sleep both nights. The Breakfast buffet was also very hectic. It was hard to get hold of a coffee plunger, no milk jugs (would be nice to be seated and coffee/tea order taken on arrival to avoid this) and the cue for the fresh juice maker was always very long which caused congestion between the food areas. The breakfast food was very tasty though and had a good variety.

Was amazed by the size and luxury of the resort. The room was huge, bathroom plenty of space. Reception staff friendly and plenty of options for breakfast. Some feedback may be the restaurant. Breakfast staff, including the lady that asked for our room number, weren't that friendly or even acknowledging of our existence. The restaurant for dinner, while the water was initially attentive the service fell to below par as the entree took almost an hour to receive and the main meal another hour after that, meanwhile the staff member never really came back to yell us what the delay was.

always easy to find a parking spot even though it was a packed out Christmas crowd. In saying that hardly ever heard another guest and rarely even bumped into other guests. found the "natural" garden setting wonderful and as most of the trees had a natural lean the paths were wonderfully shaded in many parts. Also saw quite a lot of wildlife walking to and from the beach and beach café. All your staff were incredibly welcoming and my partner enjoyed your spa session. Coming back again I can guarantee that.

Front desk staff tasked with sending us via resort buggy to the room on check-in day couldn’t even be bothered to lift a finger to help with the baggage. Only interested in verifying that the key card was working. Three person room had no extra bed prepared in advance. Had to call for the bed and extra towels.

We really enjoyed our stay as mentioned above. As far as improvements go; - bar food menu could do with a few more options, maybe wood fire pizzas? - pool layout, there didn't seen to be a dedicated path to pool through the lounges, I found I was stepping over people to access pool. - Like all resort pools people tend to hold pool lounges even when they are not at the pool by leaving towels. Not sure of the solution there, but this makes it hard to get a spot.

Resort is nice but perhaps a bit tired. Service in the restaurant was terrible - there was about 3 tables occupied but it took about 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared away. Service was much better in the bar.

The shower in our room was very dirty U could only notice the grouting was dirty when it was wet needs to be redone or really cleaned The u it was nice other then this . Your cleaning staff should report all defects to the administration so to maintain the properties at a high level due to the high use age it is important that this is done on a regular bases

It was pleasant, but being school holidays there were too many kids around the pool and there were insufficient lounges and very little shade. Breakfast was ordinary. The service was poor because it was so busy and there was not enough staff. Previous guests who had used our table had obviously had a baby eating in a high chair and the mess left behind on the table was never cleaned up and nor was the mess on the floor . The breakfast choices were also very ordinary. The room was lovely and well appointed but at $481 per night, turn down service, fresh towels etc was expected but never eventuates. The car park was so full we had to park our vehicle in the maintenance yard. I don’t think you cope all that well with 100% occupancy.
