Was disappointed to be located right by the elevator from the get go, when I asked to change I was re-located to on of the lowest level and on the very busy street. Staff was not friendly and my Gold status did not make any difference (apparently because my company books through an Agent!). Toilets were leaking and therefore making a constant noise.

Enjoyed an overnight at the Mercure for work purposes. I was delighted to see Stuart, Clive and Lindon helping the large volume of clientele like the pre-COVID days. As usual, they made me feel at home away from home. Thanks.

Room was a little noisy, we seemed to be in a high foot traffic area.

Our stay at the Pullman was good, but not as I expected. Staff were lovely. The room was dated, and water hammer was so bad in the shower, that i thought the pies were going to come out of the wall. It took a great deal of adjustment to get the mix of hot and cold right just to stop the horrible noise, and when the noise stopped the shower was not a comfortable temperature (room 1356) It would have been helpful as a visitor from interstate to have an information folder, including a map, nearby restaurants, room service options, etc. During my stay I had a cam boot (moon boot) with broken bones in my foot, the ‘accessible’ room had a shower over the bath and this was not very accessible if you can not weight bare on one leg- I had to get my partner to assist me in and out.

I booked a one night stay for our family of four at this hotel and found the whole experience underwhelming. I travel a lot for work so I know what to expect from a great hotel stay. This was not it. The front desk staff came off as impatient and dismissive, we booked a room for four and were given only two towels, there were zero vegetarian options on the room service menu, likewise for children, my husband had to go out to eat alone because of the lack of vegetarian options. I had the prawns and Spanish baked (read: soggy) rice (hard pass there, folks) the room service meal prices were grossly inflated, the air conditioning barely worked, I paid for a city view and got a view of the train station, and the only thing that saved this whole experience was the cleanliness of the room and the buffet breakfast the following morning. The food at the buffet was delicious, the staff inside the restaurant were lovely, but again, not a whole lot of options were vegetarians. There are far better places to stay in Brisbane and we’ll be choosing those next time.

My experience was overall good. I did find the rooms a little tired. The restaurant service was poor. I was with a table of 6 and 4 were served and 2 had to cancel their meal after waiting an hour. One was soup, and one of the 4 had soup - couldn't work that one out at all. One that missed a meal ordered room service and it never came - turns out it went to a different room number. The function had mix ups with break rooms as well.

Lovely hotel, exceptional service from all staff. Beautiful comfy bed, we used our suite upgrade - very nice indeed. Breakfast was great. Close to everywhere with plenty of public transport available outside.

The check in and out was seamless with helpful staff, particularly the concierge. The rooms was clean and reasonably sized with a nice view from the executive floors. The bathroom needs an update and the toilet kept the flushing noise for 1hr at a time before stopping. This was our only real complaint.

- Upon check in my email address was recorded incorrectly, I had amended it with the GSA at the time however this did not flow through and as a result I had to call to follow up about my invoice being emailed to me once I returned to Sydney - The air conditioning in my room was on all day on the Tuesday and as a result, there was a water leak. I returned to my room on Tuesday evening to hear a loud dripping into the bathtub and a piece of the ceiling had also fallen off and into the bathtub - Room service order on Tuesday night was meant to take 30 mins, however it took 55 mins. The order was a kale salad, broccolini and a peppermint tea, so reasonably should not have taken nearly an hour - When I called to follow up about my invoice 2 day after checking out, it was eventually sent to me. On this call I voiced my concerns and the person said I would receive a call back to discuss my concerns, I never received a follow up call. All in all, the experience was not at a 5 star level and felt very disjointed, not luxurious at all. As a result, I would not recommend. I tried this hotel as an alternative to the Hilton. I'll be going back to stay with the Hilton for my work travel from now on.

When I checked in, I was not provided with my complimentary drink voucher (per my Accor Plus membership). I had to go back to reception and ask for it. There was no information in the room about things like how to sign in to the Wi fi, the hotel ameneties and services, etc. There was no pen and paper in the room. The room itself was nice and large and comfortable. The bathroom fittings looked old and in need of refurbishment. I would have preferred a separate shower box instead of a shower in a small bath tub. The restaurant was great with tasty food including some somewhat healthier options.

Great friendly staff, love the rooms decor. Everything about this hotel is great. We used our platinum upgrade to stay in a lovely suite. We were treated with drinks and antipasto plates. Close to mall, casino and over the road buses. Great weekend.

Good stay for a returning guest. Conveniently situated and wonderful staff in Reception. As a Gold Accor member received a bottle of 600ml water as a gift - unusual. Would still prefer if there was two different receptions for Mercure and Pullman, also that there is a priority reception for Accor members as check in and out is a little slow, but staff are very friendly and if not in a hurry would be ok to wait. Recommend this hotel for a city visit.

Great place to access sporting venue, rail and water. The upgrade to the executive room level always allows you to instantly relax. Starting with breakfast in the newly designed Goldfinch room and dinner at night caps off great day. The staff were superb.
