We were happy when we arrived as our room was ready and we could check in straight away. But then there was no explanation of facilities, the restaurant, bar or WIFI access. I called later to ask what time breakfast was and they told me (again, should have been told at check in), we had to book in for breakfast. First I had heard that we had to book for breakfast. Then I asked if there is wifi and I was given the password. Not sure why this information is not given at check in or info left in the room. Then when it came to breakfast we ordered a coffee, 25 minutes later someone came over to say there was a delay with coffees, after waiting another 15 minutes we decided to leave politely, as it was getting close to checkout. it was very disorganised when we went for breakfast. The food was amazing, but the staff didn't seem to have the breakfast running smoothly. I honestly am not the person who usually does this, but I think it is important for feedback, so you can train your staff to make your guests feel welcomed and valued. I will be honest we just came from 2 nights at Bannisters at Port Stephens and their customer service is exceptional. I know customer service is unfortunately something that does not seem important in todays world, but it is what sets you apart from your competitors.
