We loved our room, so appreciated the free upgrade but found it super difficult to navigate the hotel with lack of ramps for our pram for our baby. I’m not sure how people with wheelchairs would be able to stay with you? Some access ramps would be a game changer. Also was sad to learn that room service wasn’t running due to covid restrictions. This is a perk we look forward to when we treat ourselves to a hotel stay. We may have considered rebooking for a different date if we had've known this. I’m sure it was in an email somewhere?? Staff were A++ very approachable and friendly. Accomodating when I requested scrambled eggs without dairy too - so lovely. Thanks Jess

I can appreciate your sentiment in relation to the layout of the building across different levels. which means that ic can be challenging to accces without using the lift provided. In realation to ramps , we are unfortunately unable to provide due to building regulation requirements. I do apologise. Room service is available across breakfats and it is a service that we are looking forward to reinstating in the evenings again soon. Room was reasonably clean and everything was diligently wrapped as per COVID standards. However there was dust on the kitchen table which makes you speculate at how well the surfaces are cleaned. There was some paint chipping off the walls with brown stains. Bit disappointing no in room dining throughout the day although breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive but overwhelmed when everyone arrived around 2pm (which should be anticipated given this is your check in time). No clear directions in terms of parking resulted in a jam at the lobby. Needs a bit of a spruce up and better organisation.

I have been at the Como many times now. It's a good hotel, with my only dissatisfaction being with the breakfast service.

I stayed for one night and found staff and the facilities very good. The room was very large and quiet, despite being in a lively part of Melbourne. I loved access to cinemas, shops, restaurants and parks. I doubt I would stay a second time, however, as the bed was very uncomfortable - hard and lumpy - and not up to the standard I would expect from Accor.

A most enjoyable staff at The Como Melbourne last weekend. Check in on arrival was simple and our room immediately available On entering our room we found it fresh and well presented and ready for our stay.  The room and subsequent servicing were a credit to the housekeeping team. All members of the team were well presented, polite and ready to assist.

The staff kept us up to date with restrictions, etc., from the moment we made the booking due to COVID. The venue was accommodating and inclusive without being fussy! Even though it was a short stay, it was relaxing and enjoyable.

We have been staying at The Como regularly over the last 12 mths (when restrictions have permitted) and every time we have been accorded the most professional service, assistance and support. The staff are gracious, welcoming and accommodating. The property is is always presentable both front of house and the hotel rooms. Our most recent stay was to celebrate my son’s 14th Birthday with family in Melbourne and on arrival to the hotel we were welcomed with a wonderful handwritten sign on the large mirror in the suite wishing him a Happy Birthday as well as numbered balloons on his bed and a jar of chocolates from Koko Chocolates next door ! What a welcoming . As always all good things must come to an end however we are already looking forward to our next relaxing stay in the big smoke and a swim in the rooftop pool! Thank you once again.
