ibis Hangzhou Huanglong Hotel 3 stars

I was stayed in hangzhou for 8 nights just at Ibis hotel Hangzhou wensan. Located near to central of city, with a lot of food around. Kfc 24hrs is just bellow of this hotel, and very convinience to foreigners. Besides, there's so many food stall, bakery, bank, and convinience store around. To xihu is about 10minutes by taxi. The cleanliness of the room is above the average, and the cleaning service are always welcome. However, there are some rooms not sound proof

Hotel is not centrally located on a one-way street. Service is casual and meals were Chinese and ordinary. It is not good that they let touts put cards under our doors to advertise sex service! Called for taxi service in the rain. Waited for 30 minutes and it never came!

Hotel pretty basic, in the style Ibis, very comfortable bed and large room, simple furniture, good equipped (particularly when compared to the cheap price) good cleaning A drawback of the room: the window on a narrow shaft practically in front of the hall, not very effective sound insulation The breakfast is rather poor for western clients, the hotel's services limited, there is still a fridge to fulfill purchase of cool drinks in the lobby, not everything the reception staff speak English. The area is fairly central, well served by shops and restaurants, but the important places to be reached by taxi, however, because few kilometers distant

The environment outside is quite dirty, but it may due to the city overall environment. The room is noisy if you open the window as it is facing a major road in Hangzhou. You can't use an oversea credit card for deposit as the authorize is not able to cancel, however you can use for payment. Overall I'm disappointing because as an Accor hotel it suppose to have a higher standard but compare to all hotels in Hangzhou, it should be an above average hotel.

Everything good except smoke smell on the first day and also bad WIFI I had already declare a non-smoking room before I took the room on the reception counter. Moreover I felt so awkward that my previous reservation on internet was not valid though I had taken a photo of the page of confirmation of reservation with reservation number. The website is accorhotel.com. I wasted 1 or 2 hrs of my time at the reservation counter because they didn't find my reservation and I had it do the reservation again thru internet. However the WIFI at the hotel is so slow and poor.

Good points - clean modern rooms, friendly staff, facilities better than average Ibis. Bad points - would not accept Accor vouchers - breakfast inconsistent - food luke warm - no coffee until requested.

It is not so convenient to get to the main view in Hangzhou. I had to waste a lot of time on the bus. But the room is clean and comfortable. It is suitable for the business customers but to the travelers.

Room serviced our needs, my husband missed fridge and I missed cereal for breakfast but ok to just pass through. Room ok, had a few electrical faults by way of power cutting off for no reason, bed comfortable and room clean

I went with friends and it was a good stay. First, the internet didn't work but the staff changed the room for us. There was a misunderstanding about the charges but it went ok later. Would be better if the night and early morning shifts staff can speak some English as it was very difficult to communicate with them.
