Good family staycation

I booked family room at this property and it was amazing. The room was exactly as expected, with one double bed and a bunk bed. My niece was so happy going up and down the bunk bed. The room was clean as they implemented clean/safe policy with disinfected room. As an Accor silver member I got welcome cake and welcome drink, as well as late check out until 3.30 pm. Really appreciate it! The pool was semi indoor and clean. Loved the breeze in the pool area. What can be improved was the breakfast experience. During pandemic, many Accor hotels implement semi buffet breakfast, i.e. the staff would get the food for you, instead of taking the food yourself (which imposes higher transmission risk) but this property doesn't implement it. We can still take most of the food ourselves. The shared tongs/fork/spoon were labeled sanitised. But still.. anyway, still a good experience. Would definitely come back for that cute family room!

One day before arrival, Hotel contact me to inform that I need the Covid-19 Antigen Test as the requirement for check-in. It was nice communication from the hotel. The hotel itself great, in the centre of Malang, near the culinary area like Borobudur and Suhat or Soekarno-Hatta. Moreover. as All Accor Gold, the FO allow me to early check in at 12pm. I've been upgraded to the next room category, and it very spacious with sofa, and work-desk. I've been very satisfied with this hotel.

Comfort stay in Ibis Styles Malang, the room is spacious, the hotel location is in rhe city center, easy to go to anywhere in Malang and Batu. However, the food variety for breakfast is limited and the coffee is below standard.

Hotel is clean and well organised. The room was big and clean. Everything was comfortable and I was very well looked after. Sometimes the lift was a bit crowded which made going to the room slow.

Fast check in and check out. Room design was unique, and there's super cute honeymoon theme decor and cake as it was my 6th wedding anniversary (Thank you so much! ). Super clean shower-toilet-sink, all in separated space. There was positive vibes all around the surroundings. Beautiful breakfast place with bright sunshine and garden themed wall, it's kind of mood booster to start up my day. More menu variations than I've ever experienced in other Ibis chains: traditional drinks/'Jamu' (I used to have them only in Mercure hotels), assorted puddings, etc. Main menu was placed in a steril space as part prevention of COVID-19. Indoor pool very cozy. . Overall it was a great experience and I definitely will stay here again.

Great hotel but need little maintenance. The bathroom in room 1102 smell bad. I have to spray disinfectant several time to vanish it.
