Decided to book this hotel rather than travel a relatively short distance home, after visiting the local theatre. It turned out to be a very wise decision, as the hotel was very impressive and we had a wonderful stay. The facilities were very good, lunch and breakfast very tasty and all the staff very friendly and engaging.

The food in the restaurant on both nights was excellent. A good choice available for breakfast but the hot breakfast buffet wasn't particularly hot both mornings. The classic room we had was very clean with a good shower but the standard lamp shade was badly water marked and needs to be replaced. Easy car parking (free).

Good room overlooking golf course. Nice bar area but felt too many low chairs & tables so didn't feel comfortable to eat a bar meal. Enjoyed a good breakfast though.

Stayed at Mercure Milton Keynes for one night we was attendingat wedding the room was ready earlyso we was able to freshen up an get changed for the wedding. The room we had was lovey, the bed was comfortable too. The next morning there was plenty of breakfast to eat.

Wedding party stayed here and as Mother and father of the bride they upgraded our room. Room was spacious and comfortable but the Aircon was not working and it was a very hot day. On mentioning to reception was told just open the window which is my only complaint. My wife has a bug phobia and the reply she got was they won't get through our thick curtains. Not great customer service. Breakfast was lovely as was every other bit of our stay.

I treated my sister to a night away for her 50th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The service was the best ever. There were balloons, gateaux with handwritten happy birthday on the presentation slate with strawberries and chocolate, chilled prosecco, and a birthday card for £25. We had a delicious full cooked breakfast AND continental, with tea and coffee, juice and an actimel drink each served to our room at 10.30. Late checkout was 2pm! It really was a wonderful experience and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. The rooms were lovely and clean and overall I would definitely recommend staying here.

I had 2 nights stay with breakfast included, the rooms were lovely, powerful rainwater shower, comfy beds and spotless. The breakfast was so good that I also ate in the restaurant in the evening which was very nice. The staff were all very friendly and I'm already looking forward to coming back in a couple of months time and have also recommended the hotel to the rest of the people on my course who were all staying on local hotels. 5 stars!

Great rooms, staff friendly and helpful. Evening meal OK but not to the standard I am use to. Also, there was the smell of people smoking in the corridor near my room.

From walking through the door all of the staff are marvellous. The hotel is well furnished and everything works, although the TV is disappointing as there are only a few channels. Very clean environment and good parking. Adequate breakfast and a nice bar area.

When you travel with babies and children, it makes all the difference when the staff can accommodate very specific and sometimes unexpected needs. Staff/service- exceptional Food - exceptional Surroundings - lovely we were lucky enough to have a view of the golf course from our room. Room- good: light above bed was broken, toilet roll holder was broken and sofa bed and hallway were very dusting but apart from that the room was lovely just needs the broken things to be fixed. We will be coming back.

Booked as I have stayed many times before and have always been impressed with the service and staff etc but the food served for breakfast was just awful such a let down clear sign that overheads and quality have been cut here.
