no water pressure, musty damp smelling rooms, very noisy AC. Poor Breakfast. Have stayed here probably 10 times over the years and won`t be staying again until some work is done.

Some facilities were closed incl. a bar on level 3. Also the water was leaking outside of the shower room leaving the floor wet. Not all staff were able to communicate in English even though were always trying to help.

I really impressed for the facility of the hotel. Most surprisingly for me is the staffs here were really amazing even if they were shorten of staffs on the weekend. They can performed very well!

Staffs were super nice and well manner. However, TV is so old and cannot watch any channels. Wardrobe had a bad smell. Overall decorations are old and need to be refurbished. Breakfast should have been better than this.

It was fine . Staffs try their best but the hotel is quite old and needed lots of renovations

The property is located perfectly, just walking distance from the beach, the mall, night market and walking street. The staff is polite and experienced, speak good English and very helpful. The pool and the gym are clean and maintained well. Restaurant offers the best Tom Yum soup in town. Definitely recommending the property.

We were supposed to be at a different hotel but were switched to this one at the last minute. It's in a good location on 2nd road and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice, the only criticism I would have is there isn't enough wardrobe or drawer space, but that seams to be a problem with most hotels in Thailand. The pool is a nice size and the meal and drink prices are not too bad for a hotel. The roof top bar was closed when we were there so I can't comment on that. All in all we enjoyed our stay there and we would go back.

Staff were friendly. Housekeeping was efficient. Stayed in the Suite (jacuzzi!) and it was way better than what I paid for. Well located as only 5 minutes to Beach Road and most taxi/tuktuk/motorbike know this hotel. This is my go-to hotel now in Pattaya.

It is rated as a 5* hotel, unfortunately this hotel does not belong in that category, probably in the lower end of 4*. Good size on the room, but interior is worn and outdated. The staff was friendly and helpful.

friendly, attentive staff, but questionable management decisions

all staff were very friendly and attentive despite the hardship of Corona. However we do did not understand, why management made the stay so unpleasant. We had to take breakfast in the room, where there was no appropriate table and seating. Very poor! Also welcome drink, that we are entitled as Platinum Members were only poor Softdrinks.

I stayed quite a few times at Baraquda during my stays in Pattaya over the last years. I fully understand the changes due to COVID emergency but nevertheless there were quite a few issues during my 4 day stay. As Platinum member I was upgraded to Suites for both my rooms as I was travelling with family (not always available in the past). Nearly all the staff I used to know (my last stay back in February) was changed. I really did feel any recognition as loyal customer. The rooms are getting old and present some problems in particular with water leakage in the room from air con system. The mattras of room 5006 needs to be changed. Bad experience also with Breakfast. I understand the COVID emergency imposed changes but that does not justify the mould I found in my scrambled eggs. They were probably just cooked but the egg preparation was definately much older. I hope things will get back to usual high standards Baraquda offered in the past once the emergency will be over.
