The staffs were so nice, the hotel room was clean. We enjoy most of our time there. However, the breakfast were not variative. We understand that maybe during the outbreak the food availability are limited, but it will be nice if food that offered are more variant. Thank you.

I stayed at Novotel Samator on business trip. The plan is to find not too busy hotel during this pandemic and also well implemented Covid-19 Protocol. however during the stay, pretty disappointed with Birthday Party on my second night (first night as expected, quiet and not too busy) and then big meeting on the next day which come to my surprised during this pandemic. not to blame hotel but just the time and condition not as I expected. rather than that whole experience is great

the hotel is clean, the room, the food. i love the gym also. and the most important is the employee. they are honest, cuz i had an experience about my cell phone which were left at the lobby and they kept that.

It's not my first time staying at Samator Novotel, the stay was great and I enjoy every second of it. But one thing to keep in mind that the hotel Staff (Security guard's) it's not very friendly, it's very different with the inside staff (e.g. Receptionist, waiter's) it's like they don't really understand how to behave towards customers and maybe they should get a lesson or two.

It was a brief yet pleasant stay at Novotel Samator. We had an impromptu trip and landed in Surabaya at midnight, so we have to checked in for a short stay. Luckily the hotel managed to checked us in to the last room available. Although it's a smoking room, the room was in a good shape and we didn’t found anything unpleasant whatsoever. Overall we are happy to stay at Novotel Samator and we can’t wait to book our room there shortly!

2nd getaway stay at this modern hotel in East Surabaya

We booked 2 nights for our 2nd getaway leisure stay at Novotel Samator East Surabaya. The hotel rate is higher than our 1st stay back in November 2020, even for the lowest rate that comes with no breakfast for the Superior room. The service during check-in and check-out are faster now. We were given room 616, which was not completely cleaned as we noticed there was a leftover mineral water bottle in the mini fridge. The room and facilities are great, except that it had a slight smell of cigarettes (probably because it was functioned as a smoking room before) and also the toilet plumbing was leaking quite bad. The location is excellent, as we can explore some culinary options around MERR area nearby the hotel without worrying about the car parking as it is very spacious and free of charge for hotel guests. We also enjoyed the gym and the swimming pool, which now already equipped with a small roof around it to protect us from direct sunlight. The minus point is the crowded hotel lifts, but they already activated all 3 available lifts so not much can be done to resolve this issue (unless they plan to build more lifts in the future).

This is our 2nd stay in Novotel Samator after our 1st stay back in November 2020. We think the hotel has improved based on our previous feedback. For example, the long chairs in the swimming pool area are now equipped with small roof to protect us from direct sunlight. The hotel staff is also more friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't get the complimentary breakfast for the slightly higher rate compared to our 1st stay, but overall we always enjoy having our short leisure getaway at Novotel Samator because of its complete modern facilities, huge parking capacities, and strategic location to explore culinary spots nearby the hotel.

First time stayed here, overall I satisfied, just a minor problems like bathroom shower (called operator already been fixed), the mini bar in the last day not being refill, aside than that good stay. Love the gym!

Thank you for Novotel Samator hospitality, I did enjoy during my 2nd stay in here also they indeed recognize their member loyalty while stay here. Room was spacious and in the corner room, welcome amenities was perfect. I did enjoy room and my breakfast. Few things need to improve I hope for my next stay i.e. : 1. Please make sure a towel on wash basin did not have a stain, I saw one of it. 2. During breakfast I hope kitchen staff could remind guest to wear mask or wear it properly while they queue for food serving because I saw 2 person did not wear mask and wear it properly and talking with food serving staff while choose their food (This just my suggestion because this for ours own good during pandemic). Thank you
