Aircon not working properly was very hot in the room, was not able to sleep well at night - very bad experience being a gold member - membership number 30…6895 5 when i checked in the person at the reception did not give me welcome drink vouchers (i also forgot to ask as i was too tired)

« Still feel like new Hotel just Opening.. »

Everything is still new, the towel, equipment, etc..sure, it's still 2nd anniversary...hope it's still maintain for long time.. and this is also my first time staying in hotel where the room doesn't need card to power up electricity..it's kinda a little annoying if we're using an electronic device and want to be left out of the room for a while..

« Awesome hotel »

Stayed here for 2 nights for a short business trip. The hotel is super modern and the facilities are very nice. The only thing I don't like is the location. There is pretty much nothing around this hotel - no shops within walking distance. This is no problem if you can hail a ride though. Would love to stay here again.

« Great Hotel, minus cleanliness and staff friendliness »

i stayed at Superior Suite on Saturday, 23rd 2019. The room is amazing with minimalist style decoration. The Living Room is great, the bedroom and the ensuite bathroom are also great. Even i plan to stay there again. BUT, the room is quite dirty. I think the housekeeper staff DID NOT vacuum the room. There was still a lot of rubbish near the living room window. There was still a junk under the desk. There are A LOT of food junk behind the sofa. Fortunately the bedroom floor was clean but there is few stain on the bedsheet. The ensuite bathroom also clean, but the sink lamp won't turn on and also the shower's drain is clogged. The Staffs are not that friendly and i don't even feel homey at all when i stayed there. The doorman never opened us the door and the reception is not that friendly. Overall Novotel Samator is amazing. I'd like to stay there again someday also i'd like to recommend this hotel to my friends.

Check-in is somewhat slower than other hotel but overall experience is above average. Room is spacious and comfortable. Elevator is rather slow. Maybe good to do an upper and lower zones elevator. The arrangement of restaurant for breakfast makes it feel too crowded. I still give this hotel a thumbs up. The devil is in the details. Hope this helps.

Hotel is new and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall it was nice place to stay. The inly negative thing was the shower in our room was leaking and the water pressure was very weak.

I had best experience duringmy stay at Novotel because i got upgraded my room. Only 1 problem during checked in, the process was very slow and I had to wait for 15 min after my arrival to be serve.

« I will not coming back unless there’s no option »

This was the first time for me stayed at Samator. I’ve been to the other Novotel in Surabaya and I had no complaint. But the service in this hotel was way below expectation. Too bad, I hope the management can do something about it. 1-The day i arrived around 9 PM, I came with few colleagues. There were 2 lady receptionists and 1 person, a man seemed like the manager. As it was only 2 receptionists the other colleagues had to wait for about 10 mins. We thought the manager was seemed busy with other thing ad he did not welcome the guests. Funny thing happened when suddenly there was a new guest coming in, and the manager pleased this new guest to check in in his desk. While my colleagues who already been there for 10-15 mins were still in line and already waited for long. 2- the receptionist 1 (cant remember the name) who was not really friendly as a front liner gave me smoking room as she said that was the only available for twin room. When i got into my room, the cigarette smell was too strong so i went down again right away to change the room to whatever available as long as it’s non smoking. When i got to the lobby again the receptionist who helped me before already gone. I waited because the only receptionist was handling other guest. Again, the manager in the other desk was still there, chatting with a women while i was stood there waiting. Wow! 3- So after some time, the receptionist 2 helped me and another funny thing happened, the twin room at non-smoking area suddenly available. Magic! 15 mins before the receptionist 1 said it was unavailable. It was 9 PM, The hotel was not that crowded.. probably only 1 person checked in after us, but suddenly the room is available?
