Bad suite room experience

I booked the suite room a few days ago and I had a few bad experience about it. First, the hair dryer was not working. Second, the air conditioner can't be controlled at all. Can't set the fan speed, temperature, even can't turned it off. I called the operator because it was very cold, and I can't control the air conditioner. The response was fast, a few minutes later an electrician came to my room and checked the problem. But after several minutes of check, the problem was not solved. He said need to restart the electricity but finally I told him it's okay, I already disappointed with this room so he didn't have to fix it anymore. And the last one, the water heater was not working at night. But in the morning the water heater worked very well. I didn’t know why they give me the room with that kind of problems, even though when I arrived at the lobby, they told me to wait for minutes due to the room was under final inspection by their supervisor, but the results didn’t reflect that inspection process. Overall, it was a bad experience to stay in a suite room, I think it would be better to stay in superior or deluxe room. It’s not worth it to stay in a suite room, the price was overrated for that kind of room’s facility. But the positive point for this hotel is good atmosphere, interior design, and the hospitality. Sorry to say, but I hope this hotel management can improve everything to be better, especially for the suite room.

It was a good experience staying in Novotel. The room is wide and quite clean. However, I could not watch the TV program clearly. Maybe because the connection was not good.

The rooms are nice, still brand new. But the lobby and restaurant sections are a little bit hot. Maybe the AC is not in service because of the pandemi.

Expect more from a 4-star hotel

Hotel is not located at the most convenient place, hence it is cheaper than other hotels in city centre. I stayed for 2 nights. My room was clean and looked new, but my bigger problem was with the soft products. - you would normally expect to see new, unopened bottles of shower gel and shampoo when you check in to your room, but this was not the case for us. Although the shampoo was new and sealed, the shower gel was opened and half emptied already when we checked into the room. - no hand towels were provided, only the bath towels and the floor towel when we checked in - tea bags were not replenished - dirty towels were taken away, but the forgot to replace with clean towels. When we called front desk requesting for the towels, they did bring us bath and hand towels. Even though the staff were friendly, those details did let us down.
