Our hotel was changed 3 times because of Covid quarantine hotels. We were told sue to the inconvenience we would have free parking. When we got to the hotel they were very reluctant and did not want to honour that. We organised for a joint room with our brother who was also travelling with his wife. This also was not honoured, and we were 3 floors away. When we got to the hotel, we were not given any information about service such as room policies/rules, wifi information, where to find pool towels, we didn’t even know what time Checkout was. We could not use our room card to get to our brother’s room either. This hotel experience was very poor and we would definitely not come back to stay here.

Just a getaway for a night

Being an Accor plus member I used this as my complimentary night. Check in staff were very friendly and is was an easy procedure. I also requested a possible late check out and was granted an extra hour. I found the room adequate however was a little disappointed in the selection for breakfast. I possibly wasn’t in tune with how much of a family hotel that it actually was. Due to the weather my daughter and I enjoyed a drink at the bar and had some light snacks/dinner at 5.20pm. I found the discount applied confusing before the restaurant opened at 5.30 pm. All good in the end. Overall stay was fairly enjoyable.

I spent the weekend with the children. It was very very busy on check in but it moved pretty quick. The Assistant manager that checked me in (Jinny) was so lovely and very helpful and answered all my questions. the little toys the kids got on check in was such a great touch!!! the room was nice and it was pretty quiet. the pool was very good and the staff from the restaurant coming out to take drink orders was awesome

This is a delightful place. Yes it is slightly outdated being an older resort but why is that a bad thing. Nearly two years since I was here due to the Covid Issues and the amazing staff members I have met in my many stays remembered me. That is uber awesome! Ben and Peter are champions! Big hi to Janesh. we very much enjoyed the stay the rooms were lovely and comfortable. the pools were fantastic the sunbed were a little old and damaged but otherwise fine. buffet breakfast was a letdown. there wasn't much of a variety and what was there wasn't overly nice particularly the yoghurts that had been sitting for long enough for them to start to seperate. for a buffet breakfast that was $30 it was not great.

We booked 5 rooms in total having arranged a trip with four other couples, a few points we would bring to your attention is that when we checked in to our rooms we found that we had no TV reception, this was not mentioned when we checked in. After wasting time trying to tune the TV in we are told when reporting the issue that they are aware of the problem and someone will be along to sort it out which did not happen and had no TV throughout our stay. We were all in block 3, on walking to the main building I found that the pathway is uneven on which I tripped over taking the skin off my knee and elbow. I did not report it at the time as I did not want to make a fuss but thought I would bring this to your attention when completing your survey. A few of our party had the continental breakfast that they said was very basic. With all due respect we would have thought with the downtime that you would have experienced that the property would have been up to top condition for guests to have the best time and want to return.

I own a unit there, it was busy over the weekend, there's now no priority car parking, no newspaper, no turn down the sheets. The welcome cheese platter was nice but had been sitting out so all the cheese was soft and out of shape. I have just noticed things slowly disappearing for owners and accor members, sign of the times I guess? Staff were all friendly though.

Good service however we were disappointed that the spa wasn't working properly, (no bubbles and the jets were not very strong either). We paid all up $260 for two nights which we think we did well to get athough its quite a drive to the beach. So its unlikely we'd pay much more than that given those circumstances.

Enjoyed our stay. Found all the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a family get together for my granddaughter’s 21st Birthday and had a lovely time. The staff looked after us at dinner and surprised my granddaughter when bringing her birthday cake out signing to her, which was a delight for the end of the evening.

Love the Mercure resort, great room overlooking the Golf Course and amazing pool and spa and the breakfast was great! Bathrooms could do with an upgrade but still very clean and nice. a very pleasant stay.
