Ibis Malacca is has a great location for travelling either using public transport or driving. The parking space is large and well lit giving a homely feeling to the place.

Staff were friendly from front desk to restaurant. Overall atmosphere was very satisfactory, quite room even though I was facing the front, appreciate the upgrade from standard to superior room. Had a chance to swim in the pool, water could use a bit of cleaning as it wasn't that clear. Shower in the women changing room also had a bit of an issue with the shower handle. Above all, satisfactory stay

All staff are friendly and helpful, especially the front office staff who check in my room are extremely helpful . Overall stay are fine except for the toilet seat level is a bit high for me, wonder it is the standard height for ASEAN people (my height is 174cm) and i don't like the sand flooring in shower room.

Musty odour. Ugly watermark ceiling. Toilet bidet leaking. Bathroom floods everytime use. Shower liquid bottle cracked with sharp and dangerous edges.

1) Check-in was normal 2) Room was upgraded only upon request. Fruit platter was sent later. 3) Breakfast arrangement was that smooth as there we a church group. Not enough or signage requesting guest to queue. Unlike other accorhotels ie. ibis, novotel, pullman; guest we given a list of pre-set menu to choose or inform waiter what needed and food will be served to the guest at table. Guests crowding to get food. Request for eggs for the 2 days stay, but need to be reminded for the order. Would like to see if F&B team take down notes or order of guest and sent it to the table. rather than waiting there. 4) Swimming Pools - cleanliness of pool water was not up to expectation. lack of chlorine and water murky. No water supply. Pool and Gym time 9am to 7pm are not friendly to guests who needs to leave at 9am and back from work 6pm. Appreciate to review the time to be 7am or 7.30am or close at 7.30pm or 8pm. Can refer to other accorhotels swimming pool or gym policy that usually they do not open late or close early. 7) Many parking lots were RSVP even the OKU for whoever or VIP. Atleast 10 lots were RSVP. GOOD JOB! The Accor Plus members have to "Private Parking" at the very end of the premise. My other Accor Plus colleague felt "privellege" of such arrangement. 6) Room was great. Clean, comfortable, air conditioning and water heater was up to expectation. 7) Front Desk staffs were great upon check-in and check-out. 8) Housekeeping did a great job too! Thanks to the chap!

very well located in the heart of heritage places..where you can just walk to jonkers walk n others.as usual as members of accor i always get welcome gift n drink...the only thing i need to highlighted is in my bathroom can smell cigerette during 1st night of my stay maybe it due guest that not follow the rules n regulation.

We stayed in 412 overall room clean & tidy , comfortable bed and pillows. One thing we would like to highlight, next time pls do not assign guest (couple) or single travelers near with family. We stay in the middle surrounding with i think 3-4 families. They are shouting screaming chatting along the hall. Running at the corridor. Kids everywhere. It spoiled our holiday unfortunately. Im not even can sleep and enjoy my bed.

Nice hotel near to old city. Large parking space and walking distance to most tourist spots and eateries. Clean rooms of good size and much bigger than other IBIS hotels i have stayed in. Bathroom also large and nicer than the other IBIS plastic ones. Decent breakfast at the lobby restaurant.

We've stayed here couple of times and everytime we were there, we've been getting a lot of hustles from your end. As a regular, some need to suggest that your hotel needs a thorough clean up. We had to ask hosekeeping and the front desk managers to attend to our problems with dirty rooms. Every single time. We don't even get to experience a warm welcome in terms of cleanliness of the rooms every single time we checked in. We choose again to stay at your hotel because we thought you might have already knew and understood us. The problem is here not because that we are some regular guests who stay at your hotel many times but this is cleanliness that we are talking about, the crucial basic humab needs. Your housekeepers are not really doing their jobs. Even when we asked them to wash and clean again the room that was given to us, they just showing us their lazy faces and told us that the room is clean already. We've taken pics before and after the room was clean as our evidence and you can see how your housekeepers standards are, more on cleanliness standards. Due ti covid, we can easily complain about how you are not sanitizing each room before another guest checks in but some of the staff are not guilty in this situation here. Some of them were very helpful, especially Izreen(housekeeping manager), Hakim (front-desk duty manager), Wawa (front-desk personnel) and Precious(F&B).I dont think its fair for them if we launch a complaint about your hotel. Please rehire good housekeeping staff with good attitude and understand the meaning of CLEAN/HYGIENE! Dont just hire some bangladeshis who dont really know how to keep clean. Your room condition with that kind of price is not really matched or more precisely, overpriced. Please make a lot of amendments. Dont play with people's lives like that. Just follow SOPs. Keep it clean and sanitized.

Check in was not smooth. Had lengthy conversation on the need to transact/authorize the amount although I have paid when I made the booking on ALL app. The staff was not able to clearly tell me it will be a single charge. No double charge as this is authorizing the amount I made on the app. Took some time before I confirmed with the receptionist staff. Not a great welcome as I checked in about 11:00 PM as we just came over from my grand aunty funeral. Room was great, clean and comfortable. Then came the breakfast (restaurant staffs) experience which could be better communicated on the latest SOP where it was assumed it is ala-carte buffet due to hygiene purposes. However, we were unsure if we could go for second helping or it is just a one meal per hotel guest. To avoid having guest to guess or being confuse, have clear communications displayed at entrance or have staffs to explain when escorting us to the table. Basic 101 communications. And we did not receive our "welcome drinks" as part of ALL membership benefits. This happens at all Accor hotels I visited, somehow, the membership status Silver is not as valuable if I was a Gold member? The attention to detail is not impressive as other loyalty programs such as Marriot Bonvoy. Silver is not the highest but it surely mean something and whats the point of having these benefits if I must keep reminding your Accor Hotels staff that I should be receiving this and that. Hence, I am always having doubts when it comes to subscribing business plus.
