« My family had a wonderful experience at the Pullman »

The hotel is very accommodating to children, including adjoining rooms, kids club and a pool with a slide. The breakfast spread was very well appointed with fresh/healthy options, as well as decadent breakfast treats. The rooms were well appointed, clean and luxurious. Best of all were the welcoming and helpful staff. Rohan and Wang Ki helped us arrange numerous outings and were a fantastic resource for getting around Luang Prabang.

« Slow start but great finish »

The hotel is lovely and peaceful and even though there are lots of guests you don't feel on top of each other and most staff provide a personal touch to their service. However there are a couple of areas that could improve a little. I had pre checked in but check in still took a long time. We also had been offered a room upgrade but the original room we were offered was not an upgrade. I showed the email and then another room was found for us. We had also organised for a baby cot and for baby sitting. While these were noted at check in we had to reconfirm the baby sitting and then we're asked to come back to lobby to fill out another form. It would have been good if this was provided at check in so we did not have to come back to lobby. We never received the baby cot even after calling reception. Having said all that the dinner we had was beautiful and the service by Nick and Sith was exceptional. The baby sitter was also very good and even though our daughter woke up she looked after her without bothering us. The room was great and the rest of the service was fantastic. Just some improvements on administrational side of things would make everything perfect.

« beautiful resort in quiet location »

The Resort is recently built in harmony with the existing rice fields. The location is stunningly beautiful and the resort breathes piece and quiet. The management and staff does everything possible to make it a perfect stay. If there were to be one item for improvement, if would be the service and choice of menu at the restaurant during dinner time. If felt more like a lunch menu and the service was not up to the same level as the overall service during our stay. Thus the perfect combination is staying at this resort and going out for dinner downtown in Luang Prabang which is facilitated by a shuttle service.

very modern and nice resort in the green part of Luang Prabang area . Very nice and professional service . A bit far from city but convenience free shuttle bus a few times a day . Nice and large rooms . Everythink was super , may be shuttle bus could be a bit more often

« Excellant service by friendly, polite and professional staff. »

Not to mention about the nice environment and various facilities of the hotel, my friends and I were most impressed by the excellent services provided by Mr. Rohan and the restaurant staff, Nick & Chef Sath! Mr. Rohan is patient, polite and helpful and is always available to answer our questions. Thought working long hours during our stay, he was seen very energetic and always smiled when we met him. We pre booked the 5 course dinner for 12 people on our arrival night. However, for some reason the restaurant was not informed. Never the less, Chef Sath prepared the awesome Lao dinner for us in such a short time and Nick served the dinner with perfect arrangements. They were so amazed! Finally, we had another dinner in western style on our last night. It was also great and the credit should go to the restaurant staff. Actually, this trip is to celebrate birthdays of 5 group members and thank you for making our stay (3 nights) so memorable !

Service staff were attentive and caring, from the senior management (I.e GM) all the way to the housekeeping staff, who made us feel really at home throughout our stay. As my hubby and I were celebrating our anniversary, hotel was thoughtful to decorate the room and arranged some fruits and a cake for us. Room was clean and spacious. However we did have bad experiences with the “hardware”- the water was not hot, as such shower/ bath was not enjoyable. The water pressure was weak hence flush was not efficient. Hotel location was a bit out of the hustle and bustle, but the convenience of free shuttle was helpful.

Your staff are amazing. Rohan, Jet and the others too were phenomenal. I just felt like prices e.g. spa and transportation to/ from the airport were significantly more then anything I saw in town. But other then that my stay was amazing! Great margaritas too

« Calm, clean, no stress »

Objective was to make a break in a new place in the world, discovery of local people, place, food... As for lodging, quietness and good level of service was to main attraction. The hotel is a bit away from the city, which is not an issue (and was known when I booked anyways...), and while I could arrange to rent a scooter, I was surprised it went through mixed messages about it. Apart from that small hickup, the overall experience reached my expectations in terms of local experience and restfull break far, far away.

« We love this place!! »

We had a wonderful stay at the Pullman Luang Purbang The hotel is fresh and very well appointed. The location is tranquil and fits in with the surrounds without compromising on the modern creature comforts. You can see that they are working very hard to work with the local culture and landscapes to create a unique experience. The buildings are one part of the experience, but I have to say that the staff really made the stay that much more enjoyable. Every staff member we met from the Security, Day Spa, Gardening, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage and Front of Office team was wonderful. A warm smile and wave every time we cross paths. Special thanks to Rohan, Peng , Deth , Vong and Denis for their extra care in making our stay extra special. We had a great time and look forward to returning soon.

« Repeat guess - unmet expectation »

Front supervisor (Sai) when asked for room preferences, i.e., assigned Premium room with beautiful view, was told to get back - two days later. No reply. I have to rebook via Accor to get the attention of the staff for Premium. I originally book three night of Suite deluxe, ( I preferred for 2nd floor with view). Instead I was assigned to bottom floor with garden view with sunken bedroom. This was not what I wanted. I downgraded to Premium deluxe for my comforts and viewing of the mountain. I enjoyed my morning coffee out of the lanai.

« Peaceful retreat with picturesque views »

The bathroom was massive enough to perform and with his-and-hers sinks, we didn't have to fight over basin space. The balcony view was stunning, and I was more amazed that I could literally hear no one and no traffic, even when it was supposed to be peak tourist season. The room was massive; you could choreograph a dance there. However, the shower's heater was inconsistent and could switch between very hot and very cold without me having to turn any knobs. It also takes a long while to warm up the shower water. Breakfast was on-rotation, which kept things interesting daily. The shuttle to town was also super helpful., although during peak season, it might be hard to get a seat.

« Great service, some imperfections »

Overall great, but some minor imperfections that get in the way of full enjoyment. A few examples - housekeeping tried to come in despite DND being on the door - I ordered dinner the last night, woke up the next morning feeling very sick. Told reception upon checkout (how was your stay?) and he just said "oh, okay" - cleaning could be slightly improved - lightbulb not working in the room next to wardrobe so very hard to see what's inside. Told reception, wasn't fixed - shuttle service could be more frequent, difficult to enjoy both the hotel and the city - table was very scratched!

« Hotel with beautiful setting »

It was my first time staying with Pullman Hotel in Luangphabang after hearing about it for a while. My reluctance to stay here earlier was the location which is outside the city area. However, this time I decided to try for 2 nights during the boat fire festival but finally ended up staying for 4 nights because I liked it so much. The hotel has very chic but modern plus colonial style design surrounded by beautiful mountains, rice fields and lotus ponds. The room was clean and comfortable. The facilities were great, I particularly ran around the hotel for 2 days and used the gym provided. Unfortunately during my stay the whole water supply system had an issue so the hot water didn't arrive and the water pressure was not strong enough when I changed my room for the last 2 nights to the second floor. The breakfast was also varied and have many selections.
