« Wonderfully peaceful escape »

A beautiful resort with extremely helpful and polite customer facing staff. The setting really is gorgeous! However, a lack of attention to detail did mean that there is still room for improvement.

« Extra ordinary lovely hotel »

The hotel is the best and the most beauriful we were in! And we are experienced travellers (aged 62, 67). Room, facilities, staff, beauty- more than excellent. The only thing that needs improvement is breakfast for westeners. No cheese was served, thus we had nothing to eat the bread with.

« Excelllent atmosphere »

We loved it, a little far away from the town, but the mountain view during the sunset from our room was incredible! The spa was nice.....but a little update is necessary.....specially if you consider the price they charge. The pool area is nice, clean and the bar was well stocked.

Highly Recommended Out of town however worth the effort. free shuttle provided to town.Beautiful location surrounded by working Rice Fields. Fantastic, well trained staff. Great, good value quality food and quality breakfast. Was upgraded and great room set up with fine amenities. Well serviced. Best of all, a great family retreat. Childrens' play centre, pool and experience with rabbits, ducks and fish.

This is why: After signing "No Smoking Fine Notice" 1st room smelled like smoker. 2nd room, toilet doesn't flush, no hot water pressure and bath floor decoupled from underlay, lose grout hurt feet, internet stopped working. 3rd room, toilet doesn't flush, hot water pressure off and on, still no internet. Light switches complicated. Property, staff and breakfast buffet 5 star. They need engineering manager. Can't recommend.

Location is lovely and 10 minutes from Luang Prabang. Very poor internet connections in the room and sometimes you have to let the tap run for 10-15 minutes for hot water which is annoying. Rooms clean and large.

« Relaxing stay on beautiful grounds »

My partner and I had a lovely 3 night stay. Although a 10 min drive from central LP, the shuttle service was very convenient for us and we were looking forward to coming back each evening to our quiet and spacious room over looking the beautifully manicured gardens and rice fields. Service was very good and friendly - we really loved the two pools to swim and relax, and the fantastic breakfast spread. Outstanding value for what we paid for.

« Beautiful resort with some issues »

The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay here. However, there were couple of issues, which affected our overall perception. Firstly, free shuttle bus to the center should be running more often. It was every 2 hours and should be at least every hour in the morning and evening. Secondly, we had to leave $50 per night deposit at the beginning of the stay. Our hotel’s expenses were charged on top of the deposit, instead of being deducted from it. We were told it would take more than 40 days to get the deposit back. This is disappointing, as we were not budgeting for this hold. There was no option to get cash advance for the deposit either.
