Hotel is new, everything is fresh. Room was not big, but cosy. Was not satisfyed with restaurant service - it was long and inconsistent. Breakfast a la carte was tasty, but service a bit disappointing too.

Overall good stay. However, one can see that the personnel are not all of them well trained. At the end I had two position on my invoice that were clearly not my consumptions. The receptionist was totally overwhelmed and couldn’t neither resolve the problem nor ask somebody for help. At the end she even said, that she is not responsible for restaurant invoices. Which was absolutely unprofessional.

Good location, near Taganskaya metro station. Staff were very accommodating (particularly Elena who helped manage our stay and wedding requirements). Hotel was very nice, great design. Spa area was great, very nice layout, good sized pool and excellent facilities. Breakfast was also very good and nice restaurant area. Overall a very nice stay and recommend this new hotel in Moscow.

Overall, I had a pleasant time during my last stay in the Mövenpick Moscow Taganskaya Hotel. Unfortunately, it seems that the well-known program "Chocolate Hours" of the hotel has no longer carried out by the hotel. Although the hotel still mention about this program in their profile in the Accor ALL digital application. In addition, the hotel has also changed their Welcome Treats from a delicious artisanal chocolate to a small fruits platter. I've received an artisanal chocolate during my previous stay at the hotel but the hotel gave me a small fruits platter during my last stay as their Welcome Treats. My other experiences during my last stay were fine, such as the good welcome drink; the nice, warm and friendly staff of the hotel; and also the good facilities of the hotel. I will highly recommend this hotel and come back again to stay in this hotel.

Nice rooms, nice design, fair price Not so friendly staff, couldn’t tell me what side of the hotel is more quiet. Answer: backyard. Quality of the restaurant didn’t satisfy me: club sandwich is awful, price is too high. Yellowfin Tina steak wasn’t medium rare as I asked, it was medium. There are no other options nearby to eat, you have your cart Blanche, do smith with Sahgal quality and difference of the menu.

It was very beautiful experience after long trip in Russia almost one month between Moscow and Sochi And we stay the last 4 night in Russia in ur lovely hotel ( and if u had more possibility in our visa we will stay more cuz we used Fan Id to come Russia . Mixed Feelings !

We spent a one night stay in this new Mövenpick hotel near Taganskaya. We have mixed feelings about this stay : the room first, we were upgraded to a Deluxe room overlooking the Garden Ring on the 6th floor. The room was rather small, but well equipped. I would say that unfortunately the carpet was already not looking fresh and clean, and the room was noisy. I can only blame the bad quality of noise insulation from windows, and as traffic never stops on the garden ring, you should absolutely prefer rooms overlooking the back (not the garden ring !). We wanted to have a snack for lunch when we checked in. There is a rather fancy and interesting restaurant (that we tried finally for the diner) and a bar, both on the ground floor. My wife wanted to have a soup from the restaurant menu, and I wanted a club sandwich from the bar menu ; there was no solution offered to us to accommodate our choice, we should have eaten separately, me seating alone at the bar and my wife seating alone at the restaurant, though the two places are a few meters from each other’s, the staff was absolutely inflexible, and preferred to suggest us to have snacks outside, in close by places rather than to serve us what we wanted to eat ! About the spa, also mixed feelings: we went twice ; first time in a quiet moment (beginning of afternoon), very few clients, it was very good amenities. The second time, Sunday morning, it was busy, and everything was missing : no big towels, no bathrobes, no bottled water...the situation was out of control ! Finally about the restaurant Chagal, interesting place (there is not a lot of decent places in Taganskaya). Starters were very good as well as dessert, main course was a little “molecular type of setting”, and was finally not exceptional. The bill for the diner (above 10 000 roubles for two) is a little high in value for money.
