Very satisfied again, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great value for money, the food was lovely, dinner and breakfast. Only a 5 min walk to the Royal Melbourne hospital. The rooms are kept very clean and the king size beds are comfy as!! Totally recommend staying here :)

My wife Maureen was in the hospital for 4 days and I was back and forth between the hospital and the hotel.The service at the front desk was exceptional nothing too much bother A special mention to Donna. I stayed here for the first time in a while and was pleased with my stay. I got a great room upgrade, the air-conditioning cooled the room during a warm week. The Polo Cafe restaurant was a delight very relaxing and good meals, dinner and breakfast. Its an interesting neigbourhood, I liked walking up to Errol Street and its surprisingly easy to get to the city from there via 3 different trams. Friendly staff and good service. Hi. I had to be in Melbourne for a few days with my kids to see a relative in Hospital and this hotel location was perfect. At check-in, I was welcomed and served straight away - the lady was ever so helpful with all of my crazy questions. The room was larger than I expected, was clean and had great amenities. The kids loved the clean pool. On-site parking was also handy (although $15 per night is a bit rich, but standard these days I guess). But the best thing about our stay was the AMAZING food from the restaurant. I am still dreaming about the delicious chicken and thyme dish... you have a great chef there!!! So, yeah, we had a pretty good stay at the Mecure North Melbourne.

Had a room with two queen beds facing Flemington Road on the first floor. Occasional traffic noise but nothing to worry about. Room was clean and a good size. Bathroom - shower over bath and lacking in storage space for toiletry bags. but bathroom is a good size. Paid for breakfast each day and it was more than adequate. Had dinner in their restaurant one night - very tasty and good size meal. Only ate there one night as the menu was limited. Price good for meals. $15 per night for parking. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The Royal Children's, Royal Women's, Royal Melbourne and Peter MacCallum Hospital's are within a very short walking distance. We also walked into Melbourne Central Shopping precinct twice and it was a good walking distance - would not want to buy too much to carry back though.

Stayed at North Melbourne Mercure as we were attending the Royal Children’s Hospital for an appointment. Cannot fault the staff or the discount when calling for a reservation (cheaper than any online deal I could find!). Great location as it’s right across the road from the hospital. Bit of a walk to the city centre but that wasn’t why we were there. One fault was the exhaust fan in the bathroom is quiet loud when you have a sleeping baby in the room but that’s neither here nor there and we just adjusted to suit us. Fantastic hotel with wonderful facilities.
