Found this stay extremely expensive parking up to $25. Rooms almost doubled compared to stay in August Makes this an expensive trip when you have a partner in hospital having treatment for cancer.

Well located

I provide my feedback on the basis of an accessible user (my son) and me. The lift is very small and dated and if I am honest, my son is petrified of getting stuck in it. It is barely big enough to get the two of us in the lift with one bag. I know a replacement isn't cheap and would have some impacts but it is long overdue. We had a nice meal in the dining room on our first night. The staff were pleasant. The room itself again is very dated and long overdue for some money to be spent on it. To be paying $200 a night is overpriced for what is on offer. The door in the shower (room 201) is visibly very worn. The shower packs (shampoo, body wash etc.) are in a fixed position. My son can't reach them, they are too high, and I am sure others with disabilities have the same issues. You need to understand that an accessible area doesn't mean the person in the wheelchair has the capacity to reach things. My son has very limited movement in his arms, can't stand, and has to be lifted and transferred with everything. This is commonplace with people living with disabilities. The seat for the shower is not acceptable. His comment was can you put something under me the strap is up bum. This needs to be replaced with a proper fold-down accessibility seat. If these things can't be done then I think it is wrong for the rooms to be deemed accessible because they aren't. Little things like accessible power points. My son has a wheelchair that needs to be charged each night and a bi-pap device that needs power. Having power points hidden under desks etc. doesn't work. The mattress was at best ordinary. Very uncomfortable. Not sure how old it is but it wasn't enjoyable/comfortable.
