I stayed at the hotel over the weekend and came back again on Tuesday for the IDP Event...after a 4 am start from Delhi, was looking to unwind for a couple of hours and the duty manager was charging more than a normal half day charge.Bigger hotel chains give such perks to their regular travellers free of cost!! Being a female business traveler was expecting more cooperation from your staff..was ready to a small sum...but that option was not even given :(

« Under my expectations : poor phonic insolation and poor wifi coverage »

Not a great stay. People coming to the room for no reason. Poor wifi coverage not allowing me to attend my business conference calls. The phonic insulation was insufficient and a lot of noise in the middle of night in the corridor.

Cleanliness was not upto the mark. The room designs are faulty. Wherever we have travelled in the world, one you enter there is bathroom at the entrance with wardrobe opp to it. Bathrooms are never at the end of the room. The day light through batbroom was coming inside the room preventing guest from resting/ sleeping. The sq feet area of the room was significantly less. We have travelled to 48 countries and 220 cities and stay at Taj, Sheraton’s, Hiltons, Intercontinental group, Holiday Inn, Maritim Hotels.

Overall, the experience was positive. The staff was courteous and thoughtful. In fact, the best part of the stay was your staff. They went out of their way to be helpful and to understand our needs. One negative incident occurred when I was asking for information at the front desk and a short man of apparent importance, maybe an owner dressed in a business suit, literally pushed me aside to address an employee. I felt disrespected as a female guest. A couple of other suggestions, while my husband loved everything on your buffet, I found much of it too spicy to eat. Offering fresh naan and plain rice at each meal would have given me something also to enjoy. I wondered if you could put door dampers on the room doors so that the doors do not slam shut when entering or leaving? I think a reminder to guests that the hotel should be quiet between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. I was awakened nights by noisy guests in after hours. There was mold in the bathrooms which a good daily spray of bleach could have helped. One last item, I noticed a live cockroach climbing around on the buffet area over near the bread platters. We were a group of 23 staying with you, so we were of a considerable size group. I was disturbed one morning a fight broke out with other guests in the dining area, but that was beyond your control and you staff handled it.
