Don’t let the smoke and mirrors fool you. This hotel doesn’t live up to standards. 1. If you are from the United States or any WARM country and are here during the winter, you will FREEZE. They have a so called thermostat that doesn’t work, they have to set it in the office. My room was never at a comfortable temperature during the two nights we were here. 2. Maintenance issues: reported that both electrical outlets on either side of the bed were not working, and that my wife and I required them as we sleep with cpap machines. They were not fixed, maintenance did nothing, with they admitted! Luckily, we had our airline batteries with us, which worked, otherwise it would have been bad. Bottom line, Stay away from this hotel. They are not professional.

Not perfect. But still a good place to stay because of the location.

Stayed at the one-bed apartment. Room size is quite small but the location is unbeatable. Easy to walk to many main local attractions. No room service at all during the stay, which was clearly communicated upon check-in. Shower in the tub. Bathroom floor was easily wet due to the spill from shower. Shared laundry room at basement. £3 for wash and £2 for drying. Detergents are included. Coins for the washing/drying machines can be exchanged at reception.

I was really impressed with this place! Easy walking distance from the train station & very central, just minutes from the royal mile. Room was quiet with lots of space. Bed was a sofa bed but surprisingly comfortable! Breakfast was very good and the lounge area was excellent for working from the next day. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. For the money (about £65 for the night) this was an excellent option.

Nice clean comfortable room and friendly staff. A little disappointed no coffee pods in room when they have a coffee machine specifically for them ! Was a little surprised also it’s a sofa bed but for one night that’s okay. Great location to be in !!
