Warm welcome at check-in with complimentary drink Helpful staff in reception Convenient and comfortable waiting area in reception 2 minor issues with our room, which can be fixed: 1) gap between bath glass panel and bath tub resulting in a lot of water on the floor when showering 2) room was too hot and temperature was actually controlled from reception

Your front desk staff was generous, efficient, friendly and gave clear, information for travelers. The rooms had small bugs (ants). But, were efficient for price and convenience to the train station.

Room itself was ok, basic but toilet was clean. But the room only had one window, looking into a small internal courtyard/ lightwell, about 3m x 3m wide. Even when it was light outside, no light came into the room. GRIM, DARK and MISERABLE.

The staff is super friendly, but that is where the positive message ends. The room was dirty, with stains on the bed-linnen and what i think is mold in the badroom. I selected this hotel based on the location (close to the train) and the price (160 a night i’d expect a decent hotel). Seems only the location was correct. I’m usually not the one to leave these reviews, but they keep sending me emails.

Great location as we were traveling to Stade de France for the rugby game and an early train. As we’ve stayed at Ibis Hotels before, we got exactly what we hoped for (and it even exceeded our expectations) . A clean, efficient room with everything we needed. We had an upper floor room with a nice balcony and a great view. Will definitely return.

Nice hotel, great location for Gare Du Nord. Easy to mix up with the Ibis Styles Gare du Nord hotel which is closer and has much larger rooms. The room at had in this hotel had barely enough space to get around the double bed so it was very claustrophobic - may have suited a single bed better. Outside is a crossroads with lots of angry motorists honking their horns constantly which is a distraction (but not the hotel’s fault!)

small and basic but clean and including all room features apart from ironing equipment (did not ask for it) elevator broken so good exercise to 5th floor apologies from front staff and free breakfast offered. breakfast buffet includes all standard items thin walls

The staff were very pleasant. Room a little spartan and probably in need of a refurb but perfectly clean and spacious especially the bathroom. Would go again.

Good nights sleep, slightly noisy from hallway. There also seemed to be some issues with assigning my keycard at checkin, though the staff member was very nice.

Unfortunately the areas near by the hotel very very dirty and unsafe

Indeed, the area is very busy and it can seem dirty at the end of the day. This is no more dangerous than the areas next to large train stations in all major tourist towns. I often stay here when in or passing through Paris. It is very convenient for Gare du Nord and Gare d'Est stations. Although on a noisy street corner you hardly notice this as they have good double glazing. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

Very basic hotel - 5th floor room ,noisy as window would not shut properly, very small and one lift. Alarm call booked for 6:00 did not happen. Plus point close to gare de Nord. Free breakfast not experienced as no time

Old hotel. Bad rooms, really needs an upgrade. Old beds and old pillows. The rooms stink of foul smell. Cleaning staff has major attitude. Didn’t try breakfast this time so can’t comment. Some of the nights they appoint new staff at reception who have no idea what to do. Charles at the reception is the only saving grace who tries his best to keep helping everyone in the best way he can. Good job Charles, the African guy.
