« Well located between Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est (I was using both stations). »

Helpful staff at reception. Very impressed by the catering staff at breakfast. Room was clean. Sound of the metro in a first-floor room was a little unfortunate. Second stay on top floor was much quieter.

Located in a busy area.Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was small but big enough for a short stay. Good modern shower with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There was a good breakfast available until 10am.

Very basic hotel - 5th floor room ,noisy as window would not shut properly, very small and one lift. Alarm call booked for 6:00 did not happen. Plus point close to gare de Nord. Free breakfast not experienced as no time

« Only good thing about the hotel is Charles, the guy at the reception »

Old hotel. Bad rooms, really needs an upgrade. Old beds and old pillows. The rooms stink of foul smell. Cleaning staff has major attitude. Didn’t try breakfast this time so can’t comment. Some of the nights they appoint new staff at reception who have no idea what to do. Charles at the reception is the only saving grace who tries his best to keep helping everyone in the best way he can. Good job Charles, the African guy.

We stayed at this hotel many times bfeore. Why? It's a great hotel with nice clean rooms with good breakfast in the morning and very friendly staff. It's located just across Gare du Nord so you don't have to go far to drop off your bags when you arrive by train. It'all so has metroline 4 and 5 at Gare du North so what more do you need?

« Overcharged fare from the transport that hotel reserved for me, which is not in our first condition. »

I feel very bad with the service here. Firstly, I was impressed to choose the IBIS to my second stay as I did two years ago. However, I was mistreated from here; overcharged fare because of the hotel reservation (firstly we accepted 36 euros but finally we were charged 133 euros when we sent e-mail to ask this, the hotel ignored by not answering me my questions up to now) (Since the happening incident, the staff accepted to do the refund for my pre-paid 133 euros , but now they don’t even contact me) my lost or forgot bag (the hotel told me they would contact the taxi company they reserved and the taxi would bring my bag to the hotel on Jan 4 and they will inform me but now they didn’t even answer my e-mail) I hope my comment will be valuable for anyone who reads this , and solve the problem as I am an important customer during my stay so that I can choose IBis as option no matter where I travel.

I booked a room for 3 including M. husband, M. daughter and myself, one night check in 28 Dec 2019 and check out 29 Dec 2019. When we arrived, the receptionist told us there is no room for 3 available due to booking system error. He gave us two single rooms (406 and 402) instead. Though we were not comfortable to split into 2 rooms, we had no choice. We brought in our luggages to room 406 and opened the door 402, we was shocked as the room was then occupied. Imagine if we let M. daughter to check in the room on herself?? We went down and talked to the receptionist about the situation. We finally got other room but the whole experience was really bad.

« Cosy and warm place to stay in »

The train was not working during our visit and hotel staff was patient in explaining different options and even went an extra mile to help us with booking on Uber (a lady at the reception sorry i can't remember the name) Omar was also very helpful in providing details for he hop on and off bus. Gare du Nord is a super busy station but hotel is safe and secure. Thumbs up for their cosy little area for breakfast time and it became our working desk in the evening :)

Service staff and amenities were good. The missing thing is kettle and 2 cups in room although I asked and was told only for 3 bedders. Wi-Fi was good as I was in room 505. Wi-Fi from my experience can be spotty depending which room.

« Very Convenient for Eurostar especially during a general strike! »

We selected the Ibis because of the location near to the Gare du Nord and because of our experiences in other Accor hotels. We had a good sized room on the 6th floor which reduced the noise from the increased traffic and police activity during the strike. However, we felt the room felt a bit tired compared to other Ibis rooms we have stayed in and was in need of a bit of modernisation and brightening up. The staff were helpful and friendly especially the lady at breakfast.

« Ideal Location for Eurostar especially with Metro on Strike »

We selected this Ibis because of its proximity to the Gare du Nord which turned out to be a good decision considering the Metro and other forms of transport were on strike and the taxis were taking advantage of this by charging exorbitant fares e.g. a friend was quoted a fare of £75 to go to the area near the Champs Elysee. The staff at the hotel were very helpful especially the Serbian lady at breakfast. Our room was on the 6th floor so the traffic noise was not too much of a problem (there were increased car horns and police sirens because of the strike!). The room was a good size, but looking a bit tired compared to other Ibis hotels we have stayed at. There was a good sized shower, but the bathroom generally was not as well designed or fitted out as other Ibis hotels. We gave the a score of 3, but would have made it 4 if the room was just a bit more bright and modern.
