The receptionist, Mallorie, was very welcoming. When I told her my family had provided me with a sandwich and a small bottle of wine because of restaurants being closed, she gave me a wine glass to use that night. Then when I found out that my flights the next day had been cancelled and asked how to use the phone in my room to cancel KLM, she explained that there was a problem with those phones and offered to put a phone at my disposal in the lobby. When I arrived downstairs, the phone was ready as well as note paper and a pen. I was on hold for KLM for over an hour and during that time Mallorie offered and made me a cup of tea. She was most charming and I couldn't imagine getting better service than what Mallorie provided. She is a gem and a credit to your hotel.

A brief weekend in Brussels before heading home to New Zealand. Price-wise this was good value: a superior queen with full bath--both on the snuggier side of things. Room clearly once had a king bed, because the two embedded nightstands were comically far from the queen bed. Needs some drawers for putting away knickers and the like. Excellent variety of international TV channels. Staff very helpful. Wifi speed varied, but was decent.

Hello, I'd like to file a complaint against the hotel cleaning staff. She stole my makeup while she was cleaning my room. I responded to the situation to the hotel, which protected the staff by saying that they did not steal my cosmetics. I'm sure she stole it, because it's new to me, so I'm pretty sure. It is hoped that the hotel will fire this employee so that her behavior will not have a worse impact on the hotel.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Novotel, Midi. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was very convenient for both the Underground and Railway Station - Noth and Midi, There was a good selection of food at breakfast. The only down side was the district. Lots of Graffiti on walls and a number of unsavoury characters handing around - mainly in the daytime. This might put off unaccompanied ladies.

The executive room was given to me for free from a normal superior room reservation for being a member, and it was the best hotel experience i have ever had. I recommend the novotel and all accor hotels for being just the hotel service that you need for city brakes and business trips. They definitely won me as a client with the executive upgrade.

The hotel and staff were nice, but it's inexcusable to put your customers directly beneath a room that is under construction with loud noise, power equipment in use and workers stomping about all day for both days of our stay. I don't believe this was an oversight because I'm certain that hotel management was aware of the construction schedule, so I believe that it was just greed that prompted you not to block out the rooms that would be impacted by the noise of the construction. I am an expat living part of each year in Vietnam, and have stayed in some of your other brand hotels throughout SE Asia (Ibis, etc.), but will no longer do so because of this poor experience.

Edward who we met at reception was very helpful and welcoming. He have is a map to tour Brussels and reassured us that we could cone back for help at anytime. The room was as advertised and nicer. The bed was comfortable, the toiletries that we got were a complete set with showercl cap, vanity set, lotion, sponge etc. The complementary drinks and snacks were okay as well.

Overall a nice stay. The hotel is easy to access from Gare du Midi and the staff were very friendly. Upgrade was nice but room was a bit dated with not many plugs and the shower was a bit complicated to use without getting water everywhere. Breakfast was okay but not worth the price in the long run.

The staff here are lovely, especially the lady on check in around 17:00 - a room upgrade and a beer and a sparkling wine to welcome us, couldn't ask for any more. Really comfortable room which was also huge! And a Nespresso machine, which with the early start for the Eurostar was very welcome for a decent coffee.. I would always recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stop over in Brussel.

Comfortable beds, a big and clean room, a good location. We found only a shower gel and shampoo and only for ONE person in double room. It was everyday (3 nights). And No body lotion, no conditioner at all. I had another exprerience at Novotel, every time I hd everything what I had mentioned above. When I called to receptioned they told me to come and to take what I need...

We chose the hotel for its proximity to Brussels Midi and price: both criteria were met! It's a city centre hotel geared for short stays and business needs. Clean, tidy, well-run, helpful reception, comfy beds nice breakfast, quiet bar - in fact all the things you need for a short stay. Shortly, after checkout I received an itemised bill [pdf] which was helpful and saved paper. We liked the idea of exchanging a daily room service for a free drink.

Good location for train tranportation

Good located nearby main train station. The room is big (we choosed executive room). But the breakfast had limited choices comparing with other Novotel hotels. Very few choices, not meet expectation. The staff are very few as well. When there's many guests waiting for check it, this showed traffic jam on que. And the staff at reception needed to take care coffee shop also, so many tasks making not provide service ontime for guest at check in counter.
