The Sofitel Team has again exceeded our expectations and has made us happy campers for the last 2 weeks. The service mentality, their friendliness and willingness to go „the last mile“ always make us come back. And you will find this service and commitment mentality in many details. We have reason to thank many of the Sofitel team, and as pars pro toto here we mention a few: Marcus, „our“ pool manager, always attentive, always caring and a heart for children, is a steal, Joshi as well. Rhamman, Steven, Jerry & Jack, the concierge team, do everything they can to organise your logistics, always manage to get a booking somewhere (especially Jack…). Fish is the friendly organiser of the Kweezeen in the morning and has here eyes everywhere. Kim Huat makes the best omelettes since many many years. You see the focus in his eyes and his service mentality I truely like (as I do my spicy omelettes…!). Emma has the Cliff bar under control while ensuring to seat everyone where you like. Many of the faces become familiar over the years, and is telling that you see them again and again. A great team is a team that stays and builds the backbone of the Hotel. And this is the case here. See you all again next year…! And thank you …!

TPS1125 Couples - TripAdvisor review

Dear Sofitel I would like to ask for an explanation of why my room was not ready by 3pm on the check in date? We reached at 4 plus and wanting to check in and rest, but was told our room was not ready?! We even upgraded our room to a junior suite and this is the kind of service rendered to us? The service of the staff at the check in counter was friendly and nice to offer us free drinks for the delay though, but we just wanted to rest and shower after a long day at work earlier . Secondly, I already emailed you guys about my partner’s birthday and you guys told me there will be a complimentary cake given, when we reach the room, there was no cake at all?! I have to call the concierge and each call took at least 30 seconds before someone answer? I stayed at other hotels in Singapore and it always took like only less than 5 seconds for someone to pick up the calls, this is disappointing. Then, we have to call 3 times before the cake appeared in our room at 9.30pm?! Is this a joke? Then when we go the restaurant Kwee Zeen wanting to have our dinner there, we asked whether is there ala carte dinner serve instead of buffet, the waitress told us no ala carte dinner, so we skip it. Then i checked online and realized they do serve ala carte dinner too? Hello? What is this service standard? So the next day, I requested for a late check out, I called TWO times to check for the status of the late check out, they only get back to me after 1 hour at 11am, and I appreciate that you guys acceded my late check our request to be at 1.30pm, thank you! But horror of all horror? One of your hotel staff came straight in to our room without knocking on our door at 11am plus with a fruits basket and macarons, we were sleeping and got a shock to have someone coming in?!?! He told us it’s a arrangement from your management by the name of Govianni? We thought it’s a sweet gesture from you guys to end off our staycation or as a belated birthday surprise, then when we were packing up and preparing to leave, we saw the card that were delivered together, it’s for the next check in guest?! It’s for mr and Mrs wong?! Why would you guys come in to disturb us during our stay to place the gifts for your next guest when we are not even check out yet?!?!?!Is it to remind us to check out at 11am even though my check out time was supposed to be at 1.30pm?! I booked a suite at a 5 stars Sofitel Luxury Sentosa and not just a normal hotel room at some 2 or 3 stars hotel!! And oohhh, no one greeted us at the lobby or offered to take our luggages to our room too unlike some hotels that we have visited when the bellboy would greet us and offer to take our things to our room. I am not being a self entitled guest here but I guess it’s basic standard to offer to take our things to our room. The only pple who greeted us are your staff who was trimming the trees. The service and hospitality of your concierge staff at night was really sub standard with no smile on their faces, I have much much better stay experience in other hotels like Sofitel city Centre and Capitol kempinski and Hilton! The only saving grace was the super friendly and helpful staff by the name of Marcus at the Cliff restaurant and the whole service crew there!they were so friendly and so welcoming!!if only your staff at the counter and lobby was as nice and helpful as them! Totally totally utterly disappointed with this birthday staycation at Sofitel sentosa and I did not expect such an experience and service standard with a luxury hotel. It did not turn out well as I expected and what a bummer for my partner’s birthday! Please do not reply me with a standard template for the bad service rendered and i would want an explanation for the late check in time, the missing cake and your staff walking straight into our room to place the gifts for your next guest when we are not even check out!

Visited Sofitel with my fiancé to get away from the hustle of the city. Extremely pleased with the pool team hospitality comprising Joshi, Marcus and Eidil for their attentive service while my fiancé and myself lounged at the pool. Food and drink at the pool was immaculate. Keep up the good work!
