« Value hotel for money »

Rooms very comfortable and very clean, excellent selection for breakfast, staff very friendly but disappointed that our room was not ready by 12 instead of 2pm as we had requested when booking, we had to get changed to attend a wedding using a conference room and toilet in reception.

« Very comfortable room, but disappointed with the online booking. »

We had tremendous difficulty booking online. We spent 2 hours on the computer and phone trying to book online and had no success. This was very frustrating and a waste of my tome on my holiday. However, upon our arrival at the hotel the service and experience was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable.

What does Ibis Styles actually stand for as oposed to its peers in the Accor Group? After a few trials I still don't get it. This particular hotel was more like a cheap US motel to me or like a Kyriad or Campanile that was complemented with some Ibis Styles green to give it that (not so) distinct look. If one goes to McDonald's or Burger King or whatever chain in the world, you know what you get. One does not in the Accor Group with the only USP to me being the floors are mostly hard floors and not too smelly and the vastness of the hotel network...

« Awfull worse than camping inacceptable »

I was extremely desappointed by this hôtel the restaurant was closed, the bar was closed rooms are ridiculously small. There is no noise isolation we heart the neighbours like they were in our room. TRIPLE 000 SERVICE there is no management in this hotel. Time to fire the manager and put someone from the hotel industry. !!!!! The breakfast was not good either awful coffee they ask 3 times the rion number apparently the only thing they can do there. The Worse hotel I ever been in my all live. Ridiculous that accor does accept that low standard.... would like to have compensation for this stay !!!!!!!

« Basic acommodation, restaurant not available in the evening, breakfast average. Disappointed »

We were surprised to find the room so basic. It was very small, there was mould around the shower tiles and there was a bulb missing in the bedside light. It could have been charming but felt as if it had been neglected and needed a complete overhaul. Probably the worst Ibis Styles we have stayed in. The restaurant was closed when we stayed, perhaps luckily as we had a lovely meal at the Campanile nearby, which felt much cleaner, newer and better managed.

Bathrooms were mouldy. Key card never worked and had to get it reset every time we re entered. Breakfast was very disappointing. Would not stay at Ibis again.

« Looks funny at first side, but it's a good hotel »

We only spend one night here. On arrival and on the outside the hotel kind of looked like it was not maintained for some time. But on the inside everything looked fine. Rooms are good and clean and we slept really well on the good bed. When we stayed here it was somewhere around 33 degrees Celsius, which wasn't a problem on the room because we had air conditioning. But even though the walk from hotel to town centre is only a half our walk, in those temperatures it's a long walk. Also the location of the hotel is in what seems to be a not so nice neighbourhood (could also be perception though), which gives a bit of a funny feeling walking there later at night. The gate will close somewhere on the evening, so your car and stuff will be save. Also riding with the car to the town centre is a 5 minute ride and you can easily park in parking La Rotonde. Breakfast was fine, with a big plus for the Nespresso machine they have! Overall out experience was fine and this hotel did the job we expected it to (except for the walk to Aix, take the car!).

« Disapointing experience »

Unfortunatelly my expectations were higher than the experience that I had. And I have stayed in several Ibis Hotels. About the staff I have no complaints. They were nice and frindly and I'd say it was the best part of my experience there. I was expecting a better overral experience based on other times that I stayed on Ibis Styles. But I had better experiences staying on Ibis Budgets. The room was too small, dark and uncomfortable. The bed was good. The A/C was leaking water and the entrance of the room and it was always wet. Sometimes the water would drop on my bags and I had to change its position to keep it dry. But this was also hard since the rom was too small. The bathroom was also too dark. The breakfast was a disappointment, specially after staying in a normal Ibis in Marseille that had a great breakfast with many tastier and better options. On our first morning at the Hotel, the irrigation system of the garden was running and it was hard getting to the breakfast room without getting wet. Even during the day and with the curtains open, the room was always dark. These were our main concerns and we wouldn't recommend this Hotel.

« 3 night stay to visit the city - convenient and in line with Ibis styles standards »

Good base to visit Aix-en-Provence. Family room very spacious (2 separate rooms). Breakfast in line with Ibis Styles. Restaurant good value for money and tasty dishes. As always with accor hotels staff very friendly, always there to help. Staff at reception gave good tips on where to park and dine in Aix.
