Was transferred/upgraded to Pullman Riga Old Town from the Ibis in Riga, which remains closed due to Covid restrictions. What a surprise; the Pullman is a gem of a hotel, superb in every way. Our room (404) was great in terms of size and facilities, with a super en-suite shower room. The room was modern and tastefully decorated, with everything we could want - fridge, coffee making facility, flat screen TV etc. The reception area is spacious and the public rooms brilliant. The gym. pool and roof terrace great. Breakfast was stunning with a huge choice of everything imaginable on offer. The bar is also very good. All staff were professional, friendly and very welcoming. The location is perfect and easily accessible from the airport. Bars, restaurants and shops all nearby. The hotel offered everything I could ask for and I'll stay there again on my next visit to Riga.

The hotel looks like a boutique hotel, very well located in the earth of Old Town. Fast checked in by a very nice and let me say beautiful young lady, who showed also later her nice attitude and efficiency. The room was very tiny, but I didn't expect anything bigger. The wooden dark floor was nice and warm. Very quiet. The only problem was the poor number of tv channels available (I'm italian, no italian channels, but doesn't matter... but not even CNN or BBC!). Breakfast was adeguate and good. Very strange pool, indoor, long and thin (one person can barely swim its length...), nice gym. All in all, a pleasant stay, but benefits for Diamond guests should be more "perceivable ". I am still waiting for my ALL points.

Historical building. Perfect location. Excellent staff. Comfy rooms. Nice kitchen . Large sauna. Proper gym room. Concerning room preferences: I liked both sides - park and atrium side, but during the summer season I would advice atrium side.

We stayed in Pullman Oldtown Riga ue to the hotel's 4 th anniversary and it was very enjoyable experience. Very good service, polite staff. nice size hotel rooms, reliable wifi, great sauna and swimpool. Our favorite place was a cigar room on the ground floor, good selection of art works. Hotel is located minutes away from all tourists activities and traps. The only thing I would recommend to change - not so strong parfume near bar. I know it is 'special parfume"of each Pullman but it was way tooo strong.

Acrually the Pullman does not need much publicity. Additionally it was very friendly Room rate without mention that my room was upgraded. Every department of the property worked perfectly even in such non touristic time Highly recommend.

Given the dearth of business these past months for hospitality organizations such as hotels, one would think any and all representatives therein would be eager, or at least instructed to welcome unequivocally guests planning a stay. Since all but one representative at this particular hotel were of this mindset, I will recommend this hotel, minus the dire inconvenience regarding parking. More on all of that shortly. From the young man who checked us in all the way up to the general manager, everyone ran the gamut from courteous to out and out joyous. We got a incredible upgrade due to A/C issues (which got fixed!); We caught a break with the pet fee (we brought our small, house trained dog); The hotel is in great shape, in a beautiful, older, totally renovated building adjacent to the old city; Since the hotel is next to parliament, the safety of the area is assured, due to round the clock police presence; There is hourly street parking nearby (free on Sundays), or a garage near-ish offering either 15 euros for 24-hours, or slightly more for unlimited entrance/exit. Drawbacks: One staff member, with whom I spoke initially derided me for the rate I chose, claimed to be the manager on duty (which she was not) when I asked to speak with her supervisor, refused to offer an upgrade to my in-laws who I invited last-minute to join us in a separate booking, argued with me when I was checking us all out, responding to my objections to her behavior and various other issues with a haughtiness giving the impression the issue was some kind of joke. This person could really do with intensive work on hospitable behavior, if not even mere tact. Other than this, due to the vicinity to parliament, you can't actually drive a car up to the hotel door to get rid of baggage. Since the garage is a bit of a hike to the hotel, one is left with only the option of rolling or carrying bags for the duration of a not inconsiderable walk to the hotel. Oddly, the hotel has no deal with the garage, so staying there offers no parking benefit to the guest. That ought to be looked at. But that latter is not a reason to avoid this hotel. One just needs to be ready to deal with that. The behavior of the referenced person is something paying customers could well do without; but perhaps that will be amended before long.

I had booked a superior twin room and a premium superior double room. However, what we got was a premium superior twin and a superior double room. No explanation was given. When I realised the discrepancy I was offered the choice to change rooms, but I knew my family would not stomach the upheaval of changing rooms in the middle of a brief 4 night stay. I think your website was clearly wrong at the booking stage and I think your staff did not communicate the change in rooms when we arrived and I think it was handled badly when I enquired why we had been allocated the rooms we had. On Tuesday 10th March, there was a very loud and boisterous party being hosted in the breakfast room. My sons could not sleep above all the din. They asked reception how long the rebelling would continue were told 1am. Part of staying in a reportedly nice hotel is that you expect to get good nights sleep. This was simply impossible. Again, when asking the reception staff, they said we could change rooms - but we would have to pack everything up and then unpack in the new rooms. I have to say, packing and unpacking at midnight is the last thing your guests would choose to do. Perhaps you should have offered the ability to have extra rooms to sleep in and then return to our first rooms in the morning? I don't think you are hitting the mark. As an aside, your website is tricky to navigate (both my husband and I are software specialists and we know a thing or two about websites!) There are some obvious things missing or difficult to find. Maybe you should look at some of your competitor’s websites? I cannot log below but we also called the booking centre to check on room availability before reserving online.

We found our room small and a little disappointing - bathroom door too close to bed. Hair dryer plug not near mirror Breakfast not hot enough and no lemon for smoked salmon although requested twice.
