Hotel cancelled my hotel pick-up and reservation while on flight to Kinshasa

Arrived in FIH and there was no airport pick-up as I had requested, despite multiple email confirmation, including the day of my flight. Had to purchase SIM and credit at the airport to check emails only to find that the hotel had sent me a reservation cancellation email while I was on the flight. After multiple phone calls to reservation, they let me know there was a mistake and that my room was booked, but there was no transport. I saw a Pullman staff at the airport after some time - he was there to pick up guests on the next arriving flight - he kindly arranged for a private taxi to the hotel. Hotel reception staff and guest satisfaction staff were kind and apologetic. Hotel offered a fruit plate as compensation. Quite disappointing consider I am a repeat guest, having travelled to the hotel over 20 times over 7 years. This is definitely the last time I stay at the Pullman. Additionally, after renovations, the water in the shower pulses between hot and scalding with very little control. Staff check on rooms at random times, including after 10PM, to make sure 'everything is ok' in the rooms. Extremely disturbing especially after a 22 hours flight time from Asia. Pullman should do better considering the price and belonging to a respectable group of hotels.

It was for work and everything went well. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices. The rooms are adequate although the view from my room was not very great.
