I stayed many times in this hotel before. The quality of breakfast, coffee etc. is going worse. The staff on reception is superb. It looks like the hotel’s amortization is huge and it needs some refresh. The quality of the coffee at breakfast is so low that I am surprised why they have bought such rubish product.

For a one night layover at Sofia airport, this was ideal. A text with the number to call for a shuttle before we arrived, the bar available for a late beer before bed and a shuttle on demand to go for our flight. The bed was comfortable and the sleep excellent. Friendly and efficient staff. Just what we needed

I arrived at the airport and called the reception. The car came to pick me up quickly. The receptionist was very kind and fast help. The bed was really soft and comfortable. The morning they left me on time for my next flight at the terminal. Thank you.

People were nice and helpful, but I had very bad sleep because the mattress was stinking cigarette smoke and nicotine and I couldn't sleep properly. One of the worst experiences I had with Ibis.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends, but please consider fixing ACs during winter time, since Bulgaria is cold. With that said, I would like to mention that Internet connection was poor.

Stayed only one night the food in the evening was very good and I can’t give enough praise to the waitress who served us her efficiency was excellent I could not fault her in any way it was a pleasure to be served by her, breakfast was also adequate and well laid out overall very satisfied.

The room did not left the impression of well cleaned and I found 2 long black hairs: one on the bed and on the bath towel. The joint between the tiles under the shower were yellow and disgusting. The lift had spots and fingers everywhere. Although I wanted to have a rest and sleep until 11am (as I arrived at 2am after a long flight), the cleaning ladies started shouting early in the morning, around 8am from one side of the floor to the other giving orders to each other... No discretion and no client orientation. Very unprofessional! The receptionists made the impression of nervous and not really professional staff, as they were too busy to tell each other what to do instead of knowing what has to be done...Breakfast was poor and I had to listen to the kitchen staff talking about their personal issues the whole time... I had the feeling that all the staff behaved like they are at home and not at work, forgetting that they are dealing with international clients who has payed EU prices to stay there... In general this hotel left the impression of unprofessional staff who need to be coached. I love IBIS hotels and everywhere I have been they are very professional, except of this one.

This hotel is let down a bit by its location - you have to rely on the shuttle (I don't think I'd try walking). The drivers are excellent, but you are reliant on them to get back and forth. The taxi drivers at the airport don't want to take you such a short distance because they lose their spot in the queue. Expect to pay 10 BGN. My room was fine, nothing fancy but it was comfortable, clean and quiet. It also had a nice view in the distance. The reception staff were lovely and the main reason this gets a 4 and not a 3. You will need to call the hotel from the airport/Metro to request the shuttle, and be quite clear where you are waiting because the shuttle driver has to keep moving. It's frustrating if the phone is engaged and you see the shuttle drive past. I think that the best improvement would be to have the shuttle run at specific times during the day so that you could plan around it. I did not have time to eat there but the bar staff are friendly and very good.

Perfect shuttle service !

We appreciated the quality of service, especially the free shuttle : we called and the driver met us 5min later right where we were. On the other way, we missed the shuttle (it was full and left earlier than planned) but the receptionist called a taxi for us : thanks a lot ! The room is nice and comfortable. But I would not recommand the restaurant : we waited 1 hour between the order and the dishes, and the prices are too high for Bulgaria.

Great Location, provide Airport Shuttle Pick up but no any facilities in the room, no any welcome water for Gold Member, No facial tissue in the room, Just only all in one hand soap, body wash and shampoo in the toilet.
