Enjoyable and Relaxing Stay for One night. Rooms Nice, Tidy and Comfortable with decent bath/shower facilities. The Continental Breakfast was lovely with a variety of fruits and cereals. Had a nice little smoothie and a delightful Croissant too. Only downside was the Evening Meal which was not very substantial for the price and there was a lack of variety. I had a Cheese and Onion Panini which was OK though.

Excellent staff, friendly, polite and seemed to be cheerful. The hotel was clean and in good order. Great breakfast. Our room was on the same level as the service entrance and the delivery of heavy wheeled containers directly outside the window seemed far too early.

Had not quite realised how far the hotel was from my destination, or how dodgy sections of Oxford Road are! It was good value and nice enough just massively inconvenient for my client offices.

The only issue we're some very rude and disruptive guests in an adjacent room. The staff did their best but ultimately I needed sleep before a long, tiring day which was the main purpose of my stay and was unable to sleep from 04.30. The room was clean and comfortable and the over bed table is a lovely touch. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Check in and out was hassle free.

It was a good experience except that we did not enjoy the breakfast at all. The lack of hot meal option should be reviewed and necessary changes made.

Unauthorised Card Payment

I arrived at the hotel. Attempted to pay but the girl behind reception said I had already made a payment. I thought nothing of it at presumed payment may have come out of my stores account on my ALL membership account. Few hours after check out I got a call from the hotel but I was in a meeting at the time, I got another call the following day also. I was travelling at that time so didn't pick up. But did try calling back on both occasions. I then get a notification on my business mobile banking app saying they have charges that account. This account is not associated with my ALL account and I remember giving it to them several months ago, and at the time was told they would delete it after check out. Clearly they didn't delete those details as I was charged using those details. Had they of messaged me or sent me an email, or left a vaivemail or called more than once in a day I would have know something was up. If they emailed or left a voicemail or text then I would have known and called them straight away to make payment. I have been using that hotel for years, and am a regular. I stay there atleast 10 times a year maybe even 20. I am also a platinum member, so dissapointed they did this. I did email them but maybe the staff member who is tk blame deleted my email before her manager saw it? - as I have not received a response yet.
