« No water, no service »

During the one night i stayed in the hotel, there was no running water which was only indicated by a small printout in the elevator. The next morning there was water but only extremely cold. It was unbearable to shower or wash one's hair with it. I really expect better when traveling for business. Especially the man at the counter simply shrugged it away and did not even offer any reimbursement or apology. I really wasnt as prepared as i wanted to be at the following business appointment. As a long customer of the Accor Group i was severely disappointed in your services

« Room ok, waiting 15 minutes for checkin as platinium not ok. Restaurant not ok. »

Very strange location (front of the hotel). Room was nice. Nobody at the priority desk and having to wait more than 15 minutes as platinum member is not ok. Regarding the breakfast, this is the standard IBIS one at Mercure price => cost/quality ratio too high. Diner was catastrophic. Over 4 starters, only one was available. Regarding the main course (poulpes) it was a mix of reheated ones with few others just cooked. The first part was quite overcooked => very bad.

« Awesome Hotel in a lousy area »

We are regulars at Novotel. As always a great Hotel, modern, clean and renovated. Breakfast was good. Service in the restaurant was not so good. The croissants were not being filled up regularly. The area where the hotel is located is bad. Drug dealers in the front of the Hotel the whole day. Not just 1 or 2 of them.. about 10 of them. Starting from 6 in the morning and thru till late in the night. The metro station is just 10 meters from the hotel, .. so the 10m past the drug dealers would be a run. In the metro station itself, it was not scary. Though the metro station is across, the room was quiet and we were not disturbed. The windows kept the noise completely out.

« Short stay, good location for airport & city »

Chose this hotel for the location at the end of a France holiday. Wanted to be close to airport for morning departure, but also close to metro for access to downtown Paris. Room was quite good & decent size. Would have been nice to have proper coffee cups & wine glasses rather than paper & plastic cups. Basin drainage was very bad (room 401). It would be a good idea to explain after hours front door access. It is quite intimidating to come back late & have no signage about how to get in the door while surrounded by lots of people congregating near the hotel entrance. We were not the only ones having this issue.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was family friendly with easy access to the metro and bus stations. Nice breakfast with variety of choices to eat and drink. Modern room with view of the Stadt De France. My only negative comment is that the common areas were not that clean.

I liked the hotel in general. Service is nice and the rooms have plenty of space and amenities. The breakfast is good, but I do have to mention that my personal favourite hotel in terms of food is Hôtel ibis Saint-Denis Stade Sud. Other than that the hotel is next to a tram stop, a bus stop and a metro stop so it was easily accessible.

Staff are helpful but wifi should be significantly improved, likewise the bar could be better and guests should not have to ask for member benefits such as water and welcome drink. The breakfast offering on the weekend is very poor compared to during the week. The tea and coffee in the room was only well stocked when we asked for an extra larger cup.

I booked the room under free cancellation policy rate for seven nights. On arrival (at the time of check-in), I have paid the room charges in full single payment. After four days i realised that the receptionist blocked equivalent amount of seven days stay (Euro 1530) as authorisation hold which mean around 3000 Euros were assigned for hotel charges and she said it is the hotel policy. It is a free cancellation policy if i notify 24 hours earlier, or to be charged for one night if i dont turn up. No where it is mentioned that equivalent amount of stay will be blocked for authorisation. I was not even informed at the time of check-in. After some argument, she released it but i was not able to use my card when i stayed in Paris. It created a big trouble as i was out of funds, used cash, another personal card etc. How can the hotel have a policy to hold this big amount as hold without informing the customer? I have never heard of this in any of other Accor hotels. Though i have not booked through Accor, i have stayed many times in Accor chain of hotels booked through booking.com. Very disappointing.
