Overall this short stay in this hotel was below my expectations for a 4-star hotel (tiny bedroom, barely space for the “office corner”). Cleaning staff (with the “don’t disturb” note hanging at the door) knocked with insistence. Last but not least, as a Gold member and as I am entitled to, no room upgrade was offered at the check-in by the receptionist. Asking for late check-out was also charged starting from 2pm onwards. Traveling and staying a lot in Accor hotels, this was unfortunately a bad experience and I won’t stay again in this hotel in the future. The only positive point was the location in Vieux Lille which is very handy to walk around to the main spots (Grand-Place, etc.).

During your stay we could not upgrade you because we did not have any better room left. Concerning the late check-out, we were almost fully booked on the 12th and could not allow a check-out too late or the room would have not been cleaned by our housekeeping team. The hotel was very well located, within a 15-minute walk from the Lille Europe/Flandre train stations and virtually right in the centre of Vieux Lille. Could not have asked for a better location. The hotel staff were very nice and responsive. Our only complaint was that the room was very small (surprised as a valued Silver client) and the bed less than comfortable. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on the quality of the offering.

This hotel is well located but is not of a 4 star standard. My room was tiny, an old attic room. Luckily I was on my own but it was booked (and charged) as a double. Breakfasts were no more than adequate with mass produced bakery goods & a sparse selection of meat, cheese etc. The heating was erratic and uncontrollable There was no provision for any food in the evening & no room service.
