Cold and disturbing- The room was super cold when i arrived

I had room 207, it was super cold when I arrived, could not walk on the floor in the bathroom bare footed to cold,. Then ventilation in the bathroom did not work, so when I took a bath I had to have the door closed for not to fill up to sleeping room with damp, I almost started the smoke alarm the first morning. The main ventilation was relay nosy, one every hour it made a strange noise, like fan blade came out of balance, when in quite place like at night it can be a loud noise.

It's my 4th stay in Mercure Amsterdam and I can say that I felt safe, very clean and extremely kind personel. The only thing I didn't like was that As a regular client staying there frequently my room preferences wasn't attended. I like to stay in high floors and this time I had to stay in 3rd foor. Other thing that should be reviewed is the booking system. I always include breakfast in booking and I always have to proof in reception that because they never are aware of that. Quite annoying for a client.

I called beforehand for an early check-in, so I could get in the room at 11 am. The staff is very friendly and will help you with anything you ask. Everything was very hygienic and clean. The room itself was also very nice and clean. The breakfast was very nice and you have a lot of options. And since you can enjoy your breakfast at the sky-lounge, you have a very nice view.
