Horrible horrible I like it’s better before 20… The new staff have no manners got a room where the lights wasn’t working after paying 200 euros a night! I was offered a voucher for a free drink which I did find ridiculous.

Not as good as previously, room was not cleaned for 2 days and had to get reception to get housekeeping to clean it. The one day the room was cleaned, it was not done properly and again had to let reception know. Breakfast - there was no toast, plus cooked breakfast was cold. Well the Beans and mushrooms were. Should also have a bit more vegetarian hot alternatives.

Friendly and attentive staff. Location is good if you do want to pay more in central area. Easy access to some eateries and a small convenience shop. There were some missing stuff like towels, etc but this was addressed adequately. A pleasant stay.

Staying at the hotel was overall comfortable, very short distance to public transport and offices, rooms with all you need in excellent quality and a nice restaurant sited on top with nice views to the landscape of the city.

This was my second visit to this hotel and won’t be my last! Location is about 10 minutes out of city centre by train which are very regular. Ideal. Hotel is less than 5 minute walk from station. Rooms are spotless, beds comfortable and very modern. Reception staff welcoming and friendly

Booked this last minute to facilitate going to the airport early next morning (due to expected congestion at the airport customs), and indeed it was very convenient being just a short walk away from the metro station with direct trains going to the airport every few minutes. Room was comfy and spacious enough for the short stay, and staff were friendly and welcome to any queries.

It was a pleasant stay at Mercure from my last trip to Amsterdam. It’s just 3 minutes walk from either train/metro station! Surrounded by convenience store and good cafes, it’s really nicely located. Staffs are super friendly and helpful too :) Would definitely return if I happen to visit Amsterdam again!

Staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very comfortable and is well located just 5 minutes out of the centre so peace and quite at night but 5 minutes away from the centre. Train connections to the centre are superb and good to the airport too.

I was early and asked for an early check-in. They told me that it was not possible because the previous night it was fully booked, which makes sense, it was Kingsday. However, because of my Accor gold status I had hoped for an early check-in. When I arrived at 2pm they told me my room was still not available, but I could leave my baggage. I had a meeting later that afternoon, so that was helpful. Upon drop-off I noticed other people were able to receive a room key. I found that strange. Finally in the evening I got back from my meeting and I was able to check-in. No mentioning of my gold status, I did not get a drink voucher, I did not get an upgrade of my room, no early check-in. What's the point of being a loyal customer if your staff, none of them, recognizes you for being loyal? Every time I get asked; is this your first time with us? I have stayed so many times in your hotel in Sloterdijk, more than 50% of me being a gold member is because I have stayed so often at Mercure Sloterdijk. I was very annoyed and at some point I asked for my drink voucher and only than they swapped my keys and I got gold key cards and my drink voucher. I was very disappointed and it was not the first time this happened at Mercure Sloterdijk. Being loyal and awarded gold level, I expected more, based on what Accor promises when handing status levels. I hope next time it has improved.

Bad smell coming from bathroom pipes, no cup for toothbrush in bathroom, just one shampoo and shower gel for 4 days, empty bar (as a Diamond member should have minimum water). This Hotel is becoming more and more decadent. For sure it was my last stay there

Another stay at this hotel. Everything was very good, room clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful as on previous occasion. The hotel is very conveniently located between the centre and the port with easy transport links. Excellent view view over city from the SkyBar.

I make this hotel my regular base for visits to the Netherlands. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It is well located for public transport (including direct trains to Schiphol Airport, The Hague, Rotterdam and many other major destinations). The breakfasts are truly excellent.

We chose this hotel due to value for money, and away from city centre. The room is very spacious, and rain shower is fantastic. It's short walk away from Slotterdijk station and convenient to city centre, via train, metro and tram or even bus ride.

It was a big mistake to book this hotel. They claim on their website that they are 5 minutes away from RAI congress centre. Its more likely 25 minutes! Would not have booked this hotel if I knew that before.

Very good. Very confortable and modern rooms. Parking and bikes to rent. The rooms were clean. And we had everything we needed in the rooms. We will certainly come back. Nice ride with the bike until the center of the city .
