I love your hotel and coupled with its days as the Hilton, I have been a regular guest for over 30 years now. But I have two significant criticisms, that have unfortunately caused me to look to the Sofitel on Collins or the Park Hyatt as my preferred choice going forward. The reasons being as follows, 1. I have mostly, and in recent years especially, booked a Corner Suite, but I am not happy now paying at least $290 to $315 for a room that is 'dated' and in desperate need of renovation. 2. What seems like every second occasion I have a Room, a staff member, usually the Mini Bar person, knocks on the door, only once and making no attempt to wait and see whether there is any response to their 'one knock announcement', instead immediately attempts to enter the room, and in the most recent stay, even unlatched the security catch and entered the room while I was in the bath !!!

I would firstly like to acknowledge you as a regular guest at our Hotel and thank you for your loyalty and ALL Silver status. I would like to apologise that you have previously encountered issues with staff entering your room, I will be addressing this with the relevant Department Managers so staff can be addressed directly regarding this. We place a heavy emphasis on guest privacy at all stages of their stay so I am disappointed to hear this feedback, rest assured it will be addressed and corrected. In relation to our rooms, as I'm sure you would have noticed on your last visit we have commenced renovations that will see each and every room within the Hotel upgraded. In an effort to speed up the renovation project we will be closing the Hotel from December 1st so that works can be completed, we then hope to be in a position to Open for business in the first quarter of 2021. We have collected feedback from guests and are confident that you will see strong value for money once these works are completed, which, together with our friendly team will see a return to the facilities and service you should expect from our Hotel. I do hope that you will return to stay with us and give us the chance to improve upon this experience once our renovations have been completed as we do value your business. The staff where lovely, the rooms and services weren’t working.

We felt nervous about our essential visit to MELBOURNE to see a medical specialist. We always stay at the Pullman on the Park when we visit Melbourne, and were relieved that we could stay despite lockdown. We felt as if we were with trusted friends, and our stay was very comfortable and secure in a familiar environment, despite the reduced amenities at the hotel.

Sadly car park wasn’t really full and the disabled park was taken without a permit showing. I need disability parking especially after having had surgery.

Visiting Melbourne from regional Victoria was eerie with such little traffic and movement in the streets. Arriving into the reception was also pretty strange with no one in site. Staff were still happy and welcoming.

Disappointed that cable TV wasn’t working and we weren’t told. It’s one of the reasons we booked the Pullman due to being confined tomorrow room. Quite disappointed, considering the price. Would not stay here again.

My husband and I stayed once again at the Pullman on the Park in Melbourne for the past week. Despite COVID lockdown, the staff at the Pullman on the Park during the week that we were there went above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure that everything was ok for us during our stay - no request was too big or too small. They made sure that all that mattered was us. We have stayed at 4 and 5 star Hotels all around the world, and so far, this Hotel is at the top of our list - because of the staff! Its location also directly across the road from the Fitzroy Gardens and the MCG not only allows you to take that daily walk or run but also to feel safe at the same time. The access to the many coffee shops within walking distance is also a great advantage as well as the short 10 min stroll to Bridge Road. We will continue to make this our home base when in Melbourne in the future and we look forward to staying in one of the updated rooms once all of the renovations are completed!

We were unaware that the facilities would be closed however can understand. The menu was extremely limited which again is understandable however it may be practical given such limited numbers that your chef could be allowed to be a bit "creative"

During times of uncertainty being in familiar places is comforting and gives you a sense of security. Returning to Melbourne and the Pullman for just a short stay certainly gave us that. From check in with Matthew, dinner with Stephanie and Jo assisting house keeping it was great to be looked after by familiar staff and enjoy the great service they provide. Everything was as good as it could be, beds always comfortable, the room very clean and ambience of the hotel as peaceful and restful as ever. Due to Covid we did miss our out door swims.
