This time we wanted to stay a little bit outside of the city and went to this hotel in Hongqiao. It turned out to be an amazing choice: we got a Junior suit for around 1,100 RMB/night and the quality of the rooms was perfect. Most important was the very nice staff, no matter if we had questions about the hotel, the Shanghai health code or some deliveries, we direclty got help. The breakfast is good average. Overall so far our best hotel experience in Shanghai.

As a accor platinum member, it has been great to enjoy upgrade of rooms. As usual, sofitel was generous to arrange a beautiful room this time again. Sofitel here was also special with the personalized touch in getting to know the guests and always checking to ensure that we were well attended to. Absolute first class.

Sofitel Shanghai Hong Qiao is just like my 2nd home in Shanghai. Each Stay always brings me wonderful memory. The staff at all levels are always there to help. From the front desk team Rachel & Nicole, LeBar Jimmy , Lori & Jack, the 3 guys at the Concierge which I couldn't catch their names who helped with my heavy luggage and couriers, the daily housekeeping lady (the one with long curly hair and big eyes) who never fail to ensure I have enough water to drink everyday and most important, the guy Wang Zhi who packed my breakfast box with "passion" on most weekday morning. Cathy, Catherine and Sunny are always with their brightest smile whenever I went for the buffet breakfast during the weekend. There are just too many people to thank during my recent stay. Thank you Billy & your Mgt team, Aless, Jerry, Angelina, Adele .. etc for ensuring my stay always a wonderful stay. You really have a great & warm team at the ground level who always trying their best to make every guest smile.

We had a wonderful experience in the HongQiao Sofitel Experience. The Extremely caring staff looked after us very well. They got out of their way to make us feel at home. For example during our breakfast they checked whether we needed anything else. Even the GM, Mr Yep, himself passed by to wish us Happy Chinese New Year and asked us whether there was anything that he could do to make our stay more comfortable. We have invited 2 VIP guest and the Rooms Manager took them on a tour and made them feel very comfortable. We were very impressed with the complementary drinks and snack at the lounge. The leadership pay close attention to the detail. For example, as the hotel was extremely busy during Chinese New Year, the Room Manager, Mr Eless told us in advance the time that the breakfast area might be crowded so that we can avoid that time if we wished to.
