The hotel was lovely and the staff! Good location from station, cathedral and SAN Siro! The surrounding area was quite intimidating during the night due to pushy looky looky men and homeless / drug users! Hotel is beautiful got a balcony and staff were so lovely

The hotel was really well located, a short walk from the station and in the centre. The room and bathroom were clean, our room had a small balcony. As we were leaving early the hotel provided us with a boxed breakfast of a sandwich, drink, fruit, cereal bars and yoghurts.

The location of the hotel was great ! Right in the middle of a busy shopping district and around a 15 minute walk to the centre. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and very modern. It is really great value for money and i would stay here again.

If you do not mind a bit of a walk, this hotel is reasonably close to Milano central station. It took me about 20 minutes to get to the hotel. Using Google maps to find the best route. Nearby are loads of shops and it is a pleasant walk to the Duomo whichever route you will take. Opposite the hotel you will find a nice restaurant, serving proper Italian food which tasted good at reasonable (Milano) prices.

Probably the worst Ibis Styles I’ve been to so far. Dark, rooms with smell of dirt, plugs getting off of the walls, no late check in even for a platinium member, and extra fee for the parking (20€ per night !). Went there because I had points which halved my rate, would not have valued the stay more than 50€/night. Good point : not too far from the city center and kind of nice staff.

At Ibis Styles, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. We would like to remember you the ibis Styles Milano Centro is a branded hotel, so we satisfy all the good qualities that our brand can guarantees. All the staff has been equally trained and it is there to help the guests in the best way we can. We have the 24/7 the reception open to solve every kind of problem. The staff is young and happy all the time, because we do our jobs with satisfaction: sometimes a guest should come and see “the world” from our side of the reception. We have been very professional and to read all this comments, it’s quite sad. You asked for a late check out and in a terrible period like the one we are living, you could imagine there are some limits we are not able to overtake. To sanitize a room against the Covid-19 takes a lot of time and you only asked for a late check out the same day of the reservations: knowing this kind of request in advance we could have organized ourselves: a last minute request is always risky and you have to understand when it is not possible to grant it to you, especially when, we would like to remind you, it is upon availability and you didn’t book in advance. All the lights are working properly, we test them all everyday when the housekeeping clean the room. In any case we have a 24/7 reception, you can call us anytime. Regarding the parking, we would like to remind you, on the web site there are all the info about how to park the car, including the private parking at the price of 20€ for 24H. Good for us there are people who value us more than 50€. On behalf of myself and my staff, we would like to thank you very much for the time spent with us and for your feedback

Covid-19 in Italy, no refund from the host

On Covid-19 crisis period, Accor Hotel group policy was very clear, all journey to Italy will be refund, although your booking was non-flexible. Andrea PARROTTINO, Room Division Manager, isn't on the same way and until now refuse to cancel and refund my booking. In this critical period, it's a shame for a host to maintain this policy. I will come back on Milano for sure, but not on Ibis Styles Milano Centro, and not sure on hotel from Accor Hotel Group.

Make everyone happy is proving and impossible challenge, and all of us, all the Italy is collapsing. We see now, Europe and the rest of the world too. We are very sad to see people all over the world, easily judging an pointing fingers when we are all in the same situation: it’s possible to see the numbers online, on the news, etc. We know people are afraid, and that’s normal and appropriate. That fear can be managed and moderated with accurate information. WHO has published step-by-step guidelines for countries to develop their national action plans according to eight key areas, which are supported by detailed technical guidance. As explained before it is not possible to make everyone happy. Corporations, partner, clients and all the tourism business is collapsing. We received tons of requests in the last month and it is not possible to agree to all of them. Everyone want to be on the sides of the good and wants to be right. There are filters and limits we have to respect to survive. I know if we say yes to everybody, we are the best but it needs a simple “not possible” to be labelled as rude people, profiteers, scavengers, etc.. There are specific laws for this issue and we are respecting all of them. The law it is the only thing that can keep us in line. You made a not refundable reservation and as explained is not possible to be refunded, but we gave you a solution: postpone your stay and you had 1 year to decide when: this is how you thank us Thanks

I booked with this hotel before the COVID-19 outbreak, but my experience with the hotel to try and cancel my booking and recover costs was awful - the policy around refunds expired a few days before we travelled, and now I have been waiting for over a week for Accor to implement their now-current policy around refunds. I know this wasn't deliberate by the hotel, but I feel like it is disgusting that the hotel will not refund when there is both UK and Italian government advice, which was published at the time of travel, which I would have been required to break multiple times merely to turn up to the hotel.

Just stayed the one night. Did what I wanted. The hallway carpet is a bit weird, the breakfast room was a bit dingy and the breakfast on offer was limited.

Clean and comfortable helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Lovely coffee Great location. Unfortunately the room information says that breakfast is served until 11 at weekends and when we stayed it was was served to 10 which made our experience slightly more rushed than we would have liked and meant there wasn’t quite as much choice.
