DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE FOOLED INTO LETTING THE HOTEL BOOK YOU A TAXI, BUT IF YOU DO MAKE SURE ITS NOT HASSAN’S FRIEND! The hotel is under 3km from Orly airport and only 2.4km from massy where we spent most of our time. On arrival the taxi was 25 Euro from airport to hotel, then we asked reception to call us a taxi to Massy which cost us again 25 euros but with the twist that the starting price was 15 euro as the driver explained we needed to pay for his travel to the hotel. Our friends who live in Paris were very disappointed and said this is not how it works in Paris so booked a uber for 11-euro return. The next day I complained to reception and asked for a taxi to massy again but I wanted the estimate and after what appeared to be trying to find taxi numbers was told 35 euro this time, so we declined as the uber quote was 11-euro. On our final morning we pre-booked an uber at 15-Euro to take us to the airport, but they cancelled the trip with lack of drivers, so we spoke with hotel employee Hassan who had told my wife the previous day he could arrange driver if needed. We asked Hassan to book the driver and after a few minutes of listening to him telling us how good this driver was, how helpful he was, and asking we mention him if we did a review, then some confusion over the collection, we eventually got collected and taken to the airport. Imagine our shock when we arrive and the driver demands 50-Euro for a 15-Euro trip! Well Hassan my review on you is stop using your contacts the rip off the hotel guests, and I hope the hotel take disciplinary action to stop you being further involved in these distasteful tactics. The hotel management [if it exists] should negotiate with a reputable taxi company to avoid this happening to gests in the future. Being a platinum Accor member, I’ve spent many nights in ibis’ hotels, but trust me I will never stay in this hotel again, and would look at other hotel chain options when returning to France. Maybe it’s my own fault for not understanding how basic a style room/hotel is, but neither the less even the basics failed – reception failed - the management failed – the franchise failed. No welcome drink as part of Being a platinum Accor member, 1 bath towel in the room [booked as a couple], no bottle drinking water in the room and none available, no phone to call reception. How does a hotel run out of basics like bottle drinking water? To get a coffee in the evenings you need to go in the breakfast room, operate the coffee machine then pay reception 2-Euro cash, they don’t even make it for you. We attended the hotel for a wedding and asked for the use of an iron, only to find no iron available and reception didn’t know where it was – not forgetting there are 4 floors on the hotel and you would expect they could organise an iron on each floor. Eventually I emailed to hotel from my room to record my disappointment regarding iron, towels, water, arrival drink. After the email, an employee went to a nearby ibis’ budget hotel to borrow an iron for us Never ever again!

Considering the location between the roads, this hotel was surprisingly quiet. Staff was friendly. Room was bigger than expected and warm. Restaurant was also ok. Location is not very nice and there are no train stations nearby. But on the other hand price is reasonable.

Just recently spent 2 nights at this hotel and I have to say for €167 a night I wish I'd stayed in Central Paris and used the RER to commute to my place of work. It's really not worth it. I read other recent reports on this hotel so was a bit sceptical on staying here but as it was booked by colleagues I had no other choice. The entrance to the hotel and reception are OK although a little grubby if I'm honest. The lift looks like it could do with a good clean and the floor I was on definitely needs a lick of paint. My room was "ok" but the carpet had a number of black stains (I have no idea what they were) and the pull across curtain was in the same condition. The bathroom however looks like new and it was modern and clean and there were plenty of fresh clean towels. That was a positive. The room has a TV but the wires hanging behind it surely must be a hazard? We only eat in the hotels restaurant for the first night and the food was basic. Although the service very good and attentive staff. So overall I'd say this hotel would only be a 3 Star at best and I'd certainly be looking to stay elsewhere if I returned to the area.
