We have faced issues during check-in for the 3 rooms that we had booked but special thanks to Mr. Hafeez and Mr. Ahmad they were able to manage everything with professionalism. They upgraded our rooms with a fantastic view. Mr. Hafeez house keeping shift leader has done everything for us. Special thanks to him and to all Filipino staffs who are very polite and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

the good things , . they have upgraded mu room . stuff are very friendly . breakfast is ok the bad things . the bool is not clean . the bool shower not working . sea is the other side of hotel and water not moving

Enjoyed our stay in the hotel altogether. was pretty upset when they didn't offer welcome drink as long time accor member but all changed when we entered our room, spacious as we reserved three bedroom apartment with awesome sea view. the room was fantastic and loved it. the kitchenette didn't have any cutleries, plates etc. noteworthy mention to all staffs - kind, warm and patient. great pool and beach. waiting time at the front desk was high (didn't expect in five star hotel). unfortunately we experienced power cut at the hotel( which is not normal in UAE) just in time we were returning from pool and notably stairs have no emergency lights either. overall, pretty happy since we got what we booked for. no disappointments, especially my daughter enjoyed a lot.

We had amazing stay. Thank you for there amazing staff YUNUS and AARTI for giving us early check in and late check out. There beach is little bit quite far but the good thing they have buggy. Pool was okay little bit crowded specially a lots of kids. Room we had one junior suite king which is very comfortable for 3 person as they have sofa bed no need to add extra bed which is cost too much 165aed, amazing pool view only thing is room was old the furniture. Wifi not so good. But overall we had so much fun getaway weekend.

Amazing property with high end facilities, super clean rooms, very welcoming hotel team, very supportive Managment and delicious F&B outlets. As a member of All Accor loyalty program at the check in We have received free upgrade of the room to the Marjan Suite, which was having spectacular view to the see and elegant interior design. Moreover, It was very pleasant to receive complimentary fruits basket in the suite, gift card for spa and clinic. I would like to thank entire team for amazing experience and I am strongly recommending this property!

Lot of improvements required

We stayed 3 nights. There should be more things to improve. There is very less kids and adult- kids combined activity area. And some play area for kids ( very limited) is away from the pool. Pool is filled with salty water.Private - turtle beech seems to be useless there also very less kids activity area and beach seems to be non- impressive and seems to be muddy and so that we haven’t get into the water. In next shore we can see a lot of kids play things are setup for other hotels and my child got disappointed after seeing this. Room services was mostly slow. Even though we can see five stars with this hotel there are very less number of items , services provided compared to other 5 star resorts where we stayed in earlier time. We booked premium room !! There was no tissue box in the room, no iron box .we requested iron-box in first day morning and we went outside without ironing since they are not delivered it even after one hour of call! . No other usual items like comb, razors, disposable toothbrush, paste. I think we need to order it one by one by calling on service numbers!!. Getting a call for service request is like getting an ISD call in 90’s .The balcony door handle was very loose and partially malfunction. Balcony door was not properly cleaned and furniture, allround setup and tidiness of balcony are quite disappointing. There is a very small empty fridge without minibar and freezer. I was bit surprised when they are asked 500 dirhams as security deposit, which was never happened for us previously. Water is flooding on washroom floor as there is some construction drawback. Noice from corridor was coming to room. Electricity was automatically disconnected on sharp 12 pm of our checkout time and we had winded up our packing and last minute items checking in mobile flash light. . I believe there are less staffs are there which we can feel everywhere including the restaurants.

Nice traditionally styled hotel, excellent sized executive rooms with sea views, helpful staff, great breakfast spread, just across the road from private beach, nice facilities like separate gents/ladies indoor pool, arcade machines/kids club for children, reasonably priced mini mart on site. Wonderful experience will surely visit again.

Overall nice experience but hope to improve the service and make it faster. Also be available when someone calls the hotel. Also answer the guests calls faster because i called many times and got no answer then i had to call other service number to finally get an answer and they said we’ll send your message to the concerned person.

Disappointing experience

Check in took almost 30 minutes if not more. Staff weren’t helpful. I have been to many hotels in UAE and never been asked for a deposit above already the room fee, for no valid reason, the mini fridge was empty. Rooms were smelly and was expecting more room essentials like bathrobes or at least slippers. This is a 5 stars hotel and the room fee was not cheap to have such a bad service.

It was a pleasure staying at Marjan Island Resort & SPA is a nice hotel with excellent service. They offer complementary fruit, chocolates and coffee in the room. Breakfast is good and you can choose: Indian, continental, etc. Also the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed or weekend getaway a lot. I will definitely stay there again.

Pleased to share our experience for a short staycation during the weekend. Mr. Khaled the manager at the front desk is very accommodating and helpful. We checkin smoothly and swiftly. The housekeeping team supervised by Madam Lilia and her team namely Alwin, Hari, Ashwini and Nyombie certainly rendered an amazing service and delightedly provided all the things we need during our stay. They ensure we have a lovely stay and something we can cherished. My kids enjoyed the kayak and other water activities. Place is wonderful and travel time is just an hour from Dubai. Overall, highly recommended.

This accor property is not value for money, service is not good at all and staff is not customer friendly my advise is to train hotel front end staff well and ask the your team to be promot on call to help guest.

A good relaxing trip with the family and surely worth it, definitely would recommend the resort to others for those who wish to have a relaxed time away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely resort. One drawback is the day we were at the resort there was road construction work and bit of an inconvenience to all who wanted to access the beach which on the opposite side of the resort, other than that the food, hospitality and other facilities was amazing, will surely visit again.
