Stayed with my elderly mother (92) in a disabled friendly room. Good facilites for her. But we were put up steps in the dining room for breakfast! Somewhere the communication that she needed step free didn't get through! But overall a comfortable night's sleep.

Hand sanitisers most did not work. We walked to our room and there was dirty plates, glasses and trays all over. The cups in our room were dirty. Room was cold and did not heat up as there was a fault on the air con. The meal in bistro was poor, greasy cod and the tikka masala was awful. Staff were friendly though.

A one night weekend stay. Although the parking area looked quite run down (lots of litter) I received a warm welcome and checkin was efficient. My room was very clean but a little cold on arrival (the window had been left open to air the room). The bed was comfortable. Breakfast had been preselected from a single-use menu and provided at a well-distanced table. Service was friendly and attentive. My only issue was the hand santiser! It had the least pleasant fragrance that I've come across and left my hands smelling of stale beer. At first I thought it was my room, then I realised that the smell was following me. Still, at least there was plenty of it around.

Definitely not up to usual standard. No room cleaning service. Linen only changed and toiletries refilled only when you contact reception. Breakfasts - mediocre. I'm looking forward to seeing you again post - Covid when you will regain your former splendour but not comfortable at present.

This is quite a nice hotel. Obviously these are strange times, and we had emails prior to arrival stating that masks must be work while going through public areas, but lots of guests seemed to be ignoring that! Room was nice (junior suite) but sofa bed wasn't made up when we arrived. Not a problem. WHen we came back in later - 9pm - told at reception that the sofa bed was broken so could we move rooms. Not idela with 2 tired kids in tow but OK. Got to new room - same style - but none of the goodies that come with the room were in it! Called reception a few times - no answer - not good. Eventually popped down to the bar for drink and told reception. Goodies arrived at 11:30!! Far to late to be knocking on the door.

We had to change room 3 times as there was issues with the bed and the TV didn't work also we had issues with the shower it was a nice hotel but it does need updating the staff were friendly and tried to help us but I dont think I would stay again

Great check in. Housekeeping staff very good. Room service breakfast was also very good. Just a shame that the orange juice and yogurt are not refrigerated and cold before serving. However given the problems caused by covid I thought the staff looked after its very well.

Comfortable clean stay however the fact that you are sending surveys through to inbox at midnight is not acceptable what are you waking guests with those notifications this is the second time this has happened I was staying last night when the previous reminder was sent at midnight woke me up and not get back to sleep not acceptable if you want feedback send emails at an acceptable time

A couple of things detracted from the overall good experience. There was an emergency exit sign close to my room that obviously had a low battery and double bleeped at 1 minute intervals. I reported this twice over my 4 night stay with no results. This was obviously audible in the room and didn't aid relaxation. The breakfast arrangements were good, but having paper cups stacked caused people to grab the whole stack, touching the rims of most of the cups.

My company uses this hotel all the time with some colleagues staying weekly I arrived after a long drive just wanting to get to Room and have something to eat No food as closes at 830 due to Covid room lights not working in bathroom and the tea coffee sachets missing poor housekeeping only 1 towel Breakfast pre order and a prepackaged bacon roll that I would rate 3 out of 10 This place has lost it genuine concern about looking after the customer

After having our wedding cancelled last minute due to covid-19 all the staff came together to ensure our wedding could still go ahead and although we couldn’t have all of our family and friends there as originally planned, the staff made sure it was just as special for us and gave us a perfect day with amazing service and hotel rooms were perfect.

My daughters wedding was nearly wrecked by Covid-19. The staff pulled it back together and made a very small wedding very very special. Could not rate them higher. The hotel is lovely too very clean. Planning to go back as soon as chaos of Coronavirus is over

Due to covid 19 no room service meal times changed ie breakfast later which didn’t jphelp me as a regular weekly stay through work I have a long day on Monday and just want crash out but no room service and no compromise even though hotel occupancy was low
