Stayed overnight in this lovely hotel on my birthday. The staff are friendly, professional and nothing is too much trouble. Clean comfortable rooms and, bring opposite Exeter Central station it is ideally located. Very reasonable rates for a first class hotel.

Overall, pleasant experience, stayed for one on Business in the area. Room (104), very cold to be fair, no heating on at all. Limited Parking on site but managed to get a space. Overall a good place to stay, well located in heart of Exeter City Centre. Recp staff warm and welcoming on arrival, very helpful too with general queries. Would recommend and will almost certainly stay once agsain.

excellent location with very helpful staff. Very clean hotel. only issue was a very poor breakfast. Not much choice and hot food was very dried up in servers

Booking was managed effectively and the staff and breakfast were lovely and the common areas were beautiful and well maintained, but my room (139) was beyond tired. Tatty paintwork in institutional colours and it looked like a previous guest had a barbecue on the filthy and stained carpet. It was not possible to turn the bedside lights on independently of the main light which meant you were either blinded or scrabbling around in the light afforded by the tiny reading lights and the shower tray was so shallow and poorly drained, that it was impossible to have a shower without flooding the bathroom floor. The sound of the air conditioning equipment in the central courtyard was also very intrusive - the glazing of the rooms overlooking this courtyard really should offer far better sound insulation.
