After many stays at your hotel, I must say this was not up there with the rest, my only disappointment was at reception when we checked in, we had travelled with my sister & her husband & were given rooms on different floors, it's not that we had booked late either, we had planned this trip last October so would have thought our rooms would have been together, the reception was busy & the poor man was running around trying to sort people out, did not have the heart to ask for different rooms.

After a not so great journey down, me and my partner arrived at the hotel around 1:30pm. As I arrived early I did not expect to check in early, we were happy with just dropping off the bags and going out until later on. The young gentlemen on Friday 21st on afternoon, who I have completely forgotten his name, checked us in early. He was very accommodating and gave us an upgrade. We were so grateful as the room was much nicer than I anticipated to be. As a ex-employee of Accor and frequent user of Accor hotels, this is what we expect every time I visit a hotel, not only for the free upgrades but the friendly and happy service. I didn’t have a chance to thank him as when we left the hotel, he wasn’t the there! Thank you for a lovely visit and we will be back again!

we had nice meal in the restaurant all staff were friendly the only thing we didn't like was the room you can here everything in the room next door it was like they were in our room also the noise at night from 1am until 4am we had no sleep banging doors shouting .

« One night stay »

Whilst my stay was satisfactory it was disappointing that my "silver" status with Accor was not recognised - e.g. no drink voucher, no acknowledgement. The room I was allocated was also noisy. Its was closes to the lift and the guests next too me had their television on very loud until late into the night and early in the morning. The hotel is well located.

Checking in quick and easy! Comfortable hotel. Location great, only 10 minutes walk to Liverpool One. Museums close by. Parking easy and just around the corner from the hotel. Would choose to stay there again.

Nice location, very friendly staff but a bit disappointed with the breakfast. Based on the hotel 4 star rating expected a 4 star service. Arrived at 8.45 am for breakfast and had to wait for a long for sausages and bacon to be replenished. Took the last fried egg and those behind me had to wait

I have stayed at loads of hotel in this wonderful city, but the staff here are the best, friendly but still professional, and that makes the world of difference to a stay. Everyone from the maintenance to the g.m. Will speak to you and make you feel welcome, most g,ms don’t interact with guests, this one does, which shows he cares about the business.

« Excellent venue for the event, with skilled, friendly and helpful staff »

As I have a slight impairment to walking, your people were very helpful with unloading (and later loading) my car and assisting our passage to and from our room with the luggage. All staff were friendly and helpful (and local!) people. Breakfast was very good, beds comfortable and our event well managed.

Came to a dinner in the hotel. Room a little bijou but fine. Lifts a little slow arriving. Breakfast very good. Outside bedroom windows suffering from weather dirt but can be walked around outside. Very quiet. Nice views. Helpful staff. Dinner well served and good quantity, pork was a bit tough. Dinner Room not ideal for speechifying due to big pillars (and no mic). So nice to be able to ring the bells at St Nics then come back for breakfast - unique!

Originally paid £48 for a room and seen the chance of an upgrade for an additional £30 which wasn’t really an upgrade one dressing gown in the room difference and a mini fridge with 2 bottles of water isn’t worth what I paid quite frankly so it was very disappointing for the £78 paid in the end
