Poor staff manners and how they approach situations ,when asked to give a little time to resolve the issue and demanding payment there and then when the account was getting sorted ..I won’t be staying there again Wall sockets exposing wires and mouldy windows and shower

Lovely hotel and grounds with great history but "tired"

Event was a success. Hotel and people all great but rooms "tired" and in need of some work. My room (Charlcote) had damp up the wall (right of the TV downstairs) and all heating was off when I got there so it was freezing for quite a while.

Huge room but hardly any furniture so felt a little sparse and cold. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful but they did run out of plates at one point. Beautiful venue and grounds. Would happily return
