Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday and was extremely satisfied with the way the staff handled my special in room arrangements. Would like to commend the staff on the excellent service in answering all my questions via email on time and with great detail prior to my stay. Overall very clean and comfortable rooms with great showering facilities. Cable tv channels provided are of HD quality and with many choices as well. One thing I would like to comment was that the staff forgotten to send my hotel key cards to my room as I was told that my card was not ready when I check in. Other than that everything was great.

Location is strategic and its beautifully furnished. However the lady with short hair at the front desk was rude and not welcoming at all, she did not greet or even say thank you. She is slow to process due to some technical issue, understandable, but did not even apologise after that. One of the worst customer experience ever we have encountered, almost ruined our mood for the rest of the day. It speaks a lot about your establishment. First impression all down the drain. Things got better after that. Housekeeping lady on the other hand was the opposite, very friendly and well mannered. Upon checked out, the same lady at the front desk was there, as expected did not say thank you when we leave, zero basic manners, so disappointing.

We checked in as a gift to ourselves on our anniversary. The check-in process was quick and easy. The room was amazing with a massive tub and an extremely comfy bed. We ended up extending our stay for another night as we were so comfortable and happy. If the breakfast buffet was available, it would have been even better. And there was no breakfast option for vegetarians which kind of disappointed me. But overall, this 2 day break was exactly what I needed and I enjoyed every minute of it.

The room was amazing, coffee in the room of high quality, prompt answer to our demands, perfect for a romantic weekend. However, many details were not up to the standard of the hotel: politeness of welcoming staff (excluding Farah, she was great), efficiency of cleaning staff, quality of the food.

It was a good stay in Sofitel during my staycation. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, overall stay is fine. However, if Sofitel can be more generous with your coffee capsule in the room would be highly appreciated. When we entered the room, it was only 1 capsule given. Then, called room service to request for more capsul, they sent 2 only ( and one of the capsule was decaf ). so i had to call again to request another round of coffee capsule for the next day instead. There're two of us staying in the room, we both had coffee for day 1 and day 2 ( so at least 4 capsules needed ). It would be nice if Sofitel can be more generous on that. BReakfast wasnt great to be honest ( ordered western breakfast --> doesnt even feel like a five star hotel standard at all ), but given the price of the room offer, will just accept it. Thats my comment. other than that, everything was good.

Sofitel rates up there amongst the best hotel brands. However I didnt sleep well this time. The pillows and the mattress in room 1801 were for some reason just too soft. It was so uncomfortable that I dare say I would not return to that particular hotel. Or maybe its just me having been home bound for the last 8 months, I have become so accustomed to my bed. Please look into this. All else was top notch.

The room I booked was intended for day office use. The basic amenities are as follow doesn't work:- 1. Remote control, I can't turn off or change channel on TV. 2. On the lift, it was stated day office/stay will enjoy free coffee or cookies. Not even cookies was seen in my room. 3. Hotel lobby staff was asking useless and redundant question! I was asked what time is my checkout time, and I told him 5pm. I asked why, can it be 5.30pm, he said no. Then I told him, why do you ask then. I read online on the checkout time. Would be better if he is helpful in ensuring me the checkout time is 5pm. It is really a disappointment for using the room for my day office.

1.Come For Birthday. Not Expecting Any Grand Decoration But Surprisingly Not Even A Welcome Letter Or Birthday Card Upon Checked In. Even I'm Accor Platinum member.. Only A Cake Was Sent Much Later After Reception Pothi Found Out I'm Here For My Birthday Staycation. Not very nice after reading some guest review they get some fruit platter n cakes upon check in . What I get is a warm room ,not even pre arrival setting like other 5star hotel 2. Evening cocktail just 1hour is a bit short. Because the service is quite slow. Every drink ordered takes 10 to 15min to arrived. Hot food only.came out almost after 30min , and our last hot food ordered not even arrived. Disappointed. 2nd day afternoon tea ordere the 2nd drinks (orange juice) but never arrived as well after 15min. So I left for check out. Check out time 4pm can be more flexible for.elite member since novotel and Mercure offering 6pm or later . Competitor RuMa 8pm And when I ask for late check out , the sharp short hair lady receptionist straightaway say 12noon not even check on my room number this is not very professional for a 5 star hotel. And also on that day hotel is very low occupancy Seriously I don't feel special being a leclub platinum member on my stay at sofitel. Even the rate is low now but service quality cannot be compromised. Hot water pressure is too strong so overpowered the cold water. Need to turn almost to cold water side only can get balanced temperature but the pressure already low not very good experience for shower. Show to maintaince guy he agree the problem but he can't do anything. Pillow are too soft. The service in brekefast is better and although only 2choice , I have to compliment the nasi lemak rendang is very good.

This is the first time I’m experiencing a Sofitel property. The check in process was smooth with my room view request a day prior to my arrival being taken care of. However, when I stepped into my room floors, i noticed the air conditioner along the walkway was not turned on. My first step into my suite was quite unexpected with the strong musky smell all across the room, cost cutting measures were generally felt especially on shower amenities (Rosslyn is a letdown in comparison to amenities of other hotel brands in the luxury segment). Despite the above, I generally experienced great hospitality from the staff throughout my stay. Interaction with front desks, house keeping, gym facilities personnel are quite lovely.

I love everything bout the room. Especially the bed. I also liked the pool, sauna and steam facilities. Would like the food's taste for breakfast to be improved in the future. It was okay but hopefully more flavourful in the future. Overall, I will be back.

I booked a Junior Suite room, I understand thing is not normal because of Covid-19 but the alternative given to me for Club Access surely did not feel like I am a Club Access customer. The receptionist was cold, but I have to command and give good review to the Le Bar staffs who were very attentive and helpful. The room was dirty. I realized a used tissue in the toilet drawer upon checking in. The next day, during my room work out, I realized under the bed was also dirty and messy with used can and slipper. Disgusting. I keep all the evidence so that this can be a living testament to how poor my experience was and will surely bring this matter to Accor. Also, breakfast was horrible.
