« Nice Hotel.....but »

We stayed for 5 nights and thought the hotel and room were very good, however they let themselves down with poor quality food. We had a Club Lounge room and had breakfast in both the lounge and the restaurant, on every occasion the food was bland and cold. For example, in the Lounge which is table service, pouched eggs were cold and whites were like rubber. In the restaurant, a buffet, dim sum dumplings were in a large steamer, however they were cold. Experience was same with other selections. I raised this with a manager in the restaurant and to his credit he arranged hot food to be hot for us when he saw us come in. Clearly not a sustainable model. Day before we were due to leave housekeeping did not empty the rubbish bin, fill toilet paper rolls or leave small face towels. All other aspects of housekeeping were good. Having said that, without exception we found all staff to be very friendly and helpful. Hot tasty food at breakfast would certainly improve my rating.

« Great service, Club Millesime was excellent, all staff very friendly. »

Really happy with our week stay. Staff were great, room was excellent, facilities at the Club Millesime were fantastic - very nice food and drinks. Just one thing, the pillows were a bit soft and unsupportive. Perhaps a pillow menu would be a good idea.

« Clean , Efficient and fabulous Nizza »

Generally happy with our stay at the Junior Suite Everything was clean and well appointed . Couple of issues - informed Reservations that there wd be 3 people and asked for a rollaway bed to be set up prior to arrival but this was not done. Amenities provided for 2 not 3 people. No mini bar - for the price of a junior suite we expected more. Staff were pleasant. Food at Nizza was the highlight - top notch quality and service.

Excellent hotel and a great choice for Westerners staying in KL. The only slip up was humidity control in the rooms, but it’s not enough to move it from 5 to 4 stars overall. I will definitely stay there the next time I’m in KL.

« Good stay but with certain niggles »

We have high expectations for sofitel since we had extremely good experiences when staying at sofitel krabi and guangzhou. We definitely find certain things up to mark like the rooms and front desk service top notch. Unfortunately, our room service experience was below average due to the fact that our kids nuggets was hazardous. Sharp and small bones pieces could be found in the chicken nuggets and thankfully my daughter vomit it out when poking her throat.

Stayed for 1 night. I had done an online check-in and put in a request for early check-in as well as for a higher floored room not facing any close-up building. Prior to arrival I called up to check on when I could check-in. Farah at Front Desk said I could check in as early as 1200 and a higher room with a view away from close-up building had been allocated for me. Upon arrival I was checked in by Farah and she was very friendly. Room 2104 was indeed very nice. Meals We had dinner at Nizza - Nice ambience and good food. Breakfast - comprehensive. Sleep Quality Lovely soft bed and duvet. However, pillows were too soft for my liking. I called for a couple of foam or latex pillows but the ones delivered were definitely not what we asked for since they were the same as the ones we had. I ended up using the small firm armchair pillow. Asked for and accorded later check-out at 1400. It was a really enjoyable and relaxing stay and I would definitely return.

« Good stay with room for improvement »

Our stay in Sofitel was a back to back stay with Pullman Bangsar. Naturally, a quick experience expectation were set. Our checked in experience was good but not great. When we arrived, I went to the check in counter and the staff was just struggling to find my details for check in (even after I showed my platinum membership card). After a while, she realised that I should be checked in at the executive lounge. Then only I was directed to the lounge for checked in. The housekeeping was average and the overall executive lounge experience was good but far from great in comparison to Pullman Bangsar. For the housekeeping, we noticed that the floor was not vacuumed for 2 consecutive days and we had to raised the issue with in the executive lounge to get the room vacuum. I have to say, that was a big let down on house keeping. Nevertheless, the room was great, the sofitel lifestyle/experience was fantastic as the options provided was indeed excellent. I believe the overall system and process live up to the Sofitel branding but hospitality can improve.

« Poor foods »

This is our second return stayed with Mr Darren Oliffe. The first stayed was fantastic but not this trip. Ordered the room service for Spagethi. The meal was terrible did not finished at all after 2 mouth. And the breakfast choice is not as fantastic as we had back in a year ago. And the junior suite we booked was absolute dissapoited as is about the same we have for deluxe king by adding a bed onto it

« Great and comfortable stay! »

Great room, very comfortable and relaxing. Service was excellent. We got a free upgrade for being ‘guest of the day’, which was an added bonus to our stay. Breakfast was also great, especially loved the variety of bread and pastries. Would stay here again and again definitely.
